That's a fake storyline that I just invented.

After eating a strange fruit from a nearby tree, Bronson gains the ability to communicate with ghosts and must help a group of friendly spirits solve a mystery from their past.

This storyline is from an episode called "Spaghetti Pig Out". While the Twists initially have fun with their newfound powers, the remote ends up in the hands of school bully James Gribble. Things don't end well for him when Gribble's friend, Rabbit, is left on fast-forward during a spaghetti-eating contest — resulting in him projectile vomiting all over the crowd.

A bolt of lightning hits the Twists' TV remote, resulting in them being able to pause, repeat, fast forward and rewind people.

The Twist family's pet dog suddenly starts talking and reveals that he is actually a shape-shifting alien who needs to return to his home planet.

Linda, Bronson and Pete discover a secret portal that takes them to a parallel universe where everything is opposite, including their personalities and friendships.

This storyline is from an episode called "The Cabbage Patch Fib". If you're wondering how it ends, Bronson attempts to return the baby to the cabbage patch, resulting in its mother angrily taking it back.

After being told that babies grow in the cabbage patch, eight-year-old Bronson actually finds one there and inadvertently becomes a father. He struggles to juggle his newfound parental responsibilities alongside his schoolwork.

This storyline is from an episode called "The Ice Cream Man Cometh". As it turns out, Giorgio used to be a normal gelati machine but became a real boy after his owner Paulo, was cursed by a gypsy.

Linda starts a new job at a mobile gelateria. She soon discovers the secret behind their "all-natural" ice cream, which involves Giorgio — a human man — dispensing the product from his nose.

Pete stumbles upon a mysterious time portal that takes him back to the 1800s, where he must help a group of pirates find a lost treasure before an evil sea monster gets to it first.

This storyline is from an episode called "Lucky Lips". After enduring one last kiss from a female pig (just watch the episode), Pete learns his lesson and gets rid of the magic lipstick.

After a failed attempt to kiss his crush, Pete gets a magic lipstick from Madame Fortune. Soon after applying it, Pete discovers that the lipstick makes him irresistible to any female he locks eyes with — including his classmates, his teacher and even his sister Linda.

This storyline is from an episode called "Whirling Derfish" and it's definitely up there in terms of being cooked. There's a scene where Bronson's whirly willy propels him into the air so that he's flying.

After accidentally swallowing a fish, Bronson discovers that his penis has turned into a propeller of sorts, which enables him to swim extremely fast.

Linda discovers a magical book that transports her into different fairy tales, where she must help the characters overcome their obstacles and find their happy endings.

This storyline is from an episode called "The Big Burp" — and honestly, I think it will forever hold the title of the weirdest _Round The Twist_ storyline.

And lastly, Pete meets a tree spirit called Jeannie after he pisses on the tree she inhabits. They instantly fall in love and kiss, which leads to Pete falling pregnant. He then ends up giving birth — aka burping out — a slimy, green baby in the school sick bay.

While you did catch a couple of _Round The Twist_ episodes as a kid, it definitely wasn't your favourite show growing up. And look, that's absolutely fair — some of those episodes were pure nightmare fuel.
