Movies are always fun to watch, especially when they're based on true stories.
That's because they can add a heightened level of suspense, and shine a light on real people, places, or events in history.
But more often than not, what you see on the big screen isn't actually what happened in real life.
In some movies, dates might be changed, characters may be removed or added, and certain scenes may be exaggerated. The aim to make the movie more dramatic can result in some glaring inaccuracies.
For example, in Gladiator the Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius was killed by his son, Commodus. But in reality he actually died of an illness, which isn't as thrilling.
And the romantic relationship shown in Pocahontas? That probably didn't happen because Pocahontas was only a child when she met John Smith.
Don't forget about The Hurt Locker, where the soldiers in the movie wore a completely different uniform to those who were deployed in real life.
While there's always room for creative license, we want to know what inaccurate details from movies based on true stories REALLY piss you off.
