This Is What The Cast Of "Miss Congeniality" Looks Like 18 Years Later

Far out, it feels like this movie only came out yesterday.

Since Miss Congeniality, Bullock has continued to absolutely kill it in Hollywood. Some of her bigger hits include Crash, The Proposal, The Blind Side, Gravity, Minions and Ocean's 8.

Memorable character moment: The entire movie, duh. But watching Gracie impress the judges with her musical wine glasses and self defence techniques for the talent part of the competition was iconic.

    Benjamin Bratt as Eric Matthews

Post-Miss Congeniality, Bratt lent his voice to animated films like Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Despicable Me 2 and Coco. He's also had roles in E-Ring, Private Practice, 24: Live Another Day and Star.

Memorable character moment: When Eric and Gracie lean in for a kiss and he suddenly pulls back to take a bite out of a chocolate bar. Ruthless.

Sir Michael Caine as Victor Melling

After wrapping up his memorable performance in the film, Caine went on to appear in a slew of successful movies like The Dark Knight, The Prestige, Inception and Interstellar.

Memorable character moment: Victor's entire transformation of Gracie was entertaining AF. But that one particular rehearsal where Victor confiscates all the donuts Gracie was attempting to smuggle under her dress was hilarious.

    Candice Bergen as Kathy Morningside

Following her role as Kathy Morningside, Bergen went on to appear in Sweet Home Alabama, Sex and the City, Bride Wars and Boston Legal.

Memorable character moment: Earlier in the movie, Kathy corrects Gracie's "Yeahs" to "Yeses" as it sounds more ladylike. But when she's caught at the end, it's Gracie who ends up correcting Kathy's "Yeah, yeahs."

    William Shatner as Stan Fields

Like his co-stars, Shatner has kept busy since wrapping up Miss Congeniality. He most notably appeared in The Practice and Boston Legal, but also lent his voice to films like The Wild and Over The Hedge.

Memorable character moment: Remember when all hell was breaking loose during the crowning scene at the end? And how Stan just continued to sing "Miss United States" like nothing was wrong? Lmao.

Heather Burns as Cheryl Frasier (Miss Rhode Island)

Besides Miss Congeniality, Burns has had roles in Two Weeks Notice, Bewitched, What's Your Number? and Bored to Death.

Memorable character moment: The answer that Cheryl gave during question time has to take the cake. "Describe your perfect date." "I'd had to say April 25th because it's not too hot, not too cold. All you need is a light jacket."

Deirdre Quinn as Mary Jo Wright (Miss Texas)

Quinn's last major role was playing Tina in Heroes.

Memorable character moment: Flashback to the crowning scene again when Mary Jo was trying to stop Gracie and ended up getting punched. Poor Texas.

Melissa De Sousa as Karen Krantz (Miss New York)

After her performance as Miss New York, De Sousa went on to star in 30 Years to Life, Lockdown, Ride and The Best Man Holiday.

Memorable character moment: When Karen got eliminated and she said, "I just want to let all the lesbians out there know: if I can make it to the top ten, so can you!"

Steve Monroe as Frank Tobin/Frank Morningside

    Roadshow Entertainment, @SteveMo333 / Via Twitter: @stevemo333

After Miss Congeniality, Monroe had a bunch of small roles in shows like Charmed, Grey's Anatomy and Wizards of Waverly Place. He's currently starring in Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

Memorable character moment: Tbh, Frank didn't do too much.
