Before Avengers, Scarlet Johanson and Chris Evans were in a rom-com together?!?

1. Zoë Kravitz and Shailene Woodley.

Zoë and Shailene first met when filming Divergent, a dystopian film based off of the popular YA novel. They teamed up again for Divergent's two sequels before being cast side-by-side in the critically acclaimed TV show, Big Little Lies. The actresses are real-life best friends so naturally they were thrilled to work together again!

2. Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort.

In 2014, the two young actors played love interests in The Fault in Our Stars AND siblings in Divergent. Also, Laura Dern, who played Shailene Woodley's mother in The Fault in Our Stars, went on to play her antagonist-turned-ally in Big Little Lies.

3. Lupita Nyong'o and Winston Duke.

Lupita and Winston go all the way back to Yale Drama School. It's no surprise that these two talented actors frequently collaborate together. In 2018, they played major roles in Black Panther. In 2019, they got the leading roles in Jordan Peele's hit horror film, Us.

4. Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch.

Most people associate Martin and Benedict for their leading roles as John Watson and Sherlock Holmes. However, this iconic duo got a chance to act together again in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. Martin Freeman played Bilbo and Benedict Cumberbatch played Smaug.

6. Saoirse Ronan and Timothée Chalomet.

Saoirse and Timothée first co-starred in Greta Gerwig's Lady Bird, with Timothee playing a love interest who breaks Saoirse's character's heart. Greta cast the duo again in her next film – Little Women – but this time the roles were reversed with Saoirse playing Jo March, who rejects the character Laurie, played by Timothée. The two will co-star together for a third time in the upcoming Wes Anderson movie, The French Dispatch.

7. Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans.

Before joining the MCU as Black Widow and Captain America, Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans played love interests in the iconic film, The Nanny Diaries.
