The One Thing You Never Noticed In "Scream"

Do you like scary movies?

Scream is one of the best horror films of the '90s.

It's where we begin our journey with badass Sidney Prescott — a journey spanning three sequels.

We know that the killers in Scream were Billy Loomis...

And Stu Macher.

But what you might not know is there's a long-running fan theory that there were actually THREE killers. This theory goes a long way to validate Roman Bridger's inclusion as the murderer in Scream 3.

At the conclusion of Scream 3, Roman explained that he was Sidney's illegitimate brother and when he showed up in Woodsboro prior to the events of 1996's Scream, he was shunned by their mother.

So he plotted to destroy her life by murdering her and setting Billy Loomis and Stu Macher on a path of serial killing that would lead to what we saw in Scream.

And weirdly enough? Roman's story holds up if you watch closely.

Here is Ghostface stalking Sidney and Tatum midway through the movie.

But in the next scene, Billy and Stu are at the video store with Randy.

It's easy enough to assume Billy stalked the girls at the house THEN showed up at the video store. But then, why would he put on the costume AGAIN and lurk inside a grocery store to watch them again?

On one hand, they could just be continuity errors. BUT they're not errors at all if there are THREE killers in the movie.

It also explains how there were two killers at Casey's house if Stu was with Tatum all evening as he said. SOMEONE had to unlock Casey's door while she was being stalked by Ghostface, her parents easily open the door minutes later.

Or how Billy would've managed to enter the house to kill Tatum without anyone noticing he'd arrived. Roman could've entered the house unnoticed.
