Mad Men and Passions, though wildly different shows, have some crazy parallels. For instance, the leads of both shows have faked their deaths.

On Mad Men, Don Draper was born Dick Whitman, but he changed his name to Don Draper after faking Dick's death. On Passions, Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald was sent to death row. A wax figure was planted in her casket, as she was not really dead.
