1. The Atari 2600 was released in October 1977.

2. A young Jack Black was in one of their commercials

4. The first Atari Football game was created in 1973, but it wasn’t released until 1978.

It was delayed because games couldn’t scroll then! When it was finally released, it was the first game to use scrolling, a key part in lots of games today!
