CHILD LABOR...
Not all children in India are lucky to enjoy their childhood. Many of them are forced to work under inhuman conditions where their miseries know no end. Though there are laws banning child labor, still children continue to be exploited as cheap labor. It is because the authorities are unable to implement the laws meant to protect children from being engaged as laborers. Child labor takes place when children are forced to work at an age when they are expected to work, study and enjoy their phase of innocence but this leads to exploitation of children in various forms such as: Mental, physical, social, etc.
Poverty is the main factor that leads to child labor. Other factors are insecure environment, the gap between rich and poor, less or nil opportunities and so on. Because of poverty children drop out of school at a young age.
To stop child labor we need to treat every child the same and help them in any way possible such as stopping them from working in mines and such places, maybe pay their school fees, etc. The Indian government is trying its best to free the children from exploitative working conditions and giving the children adequate education
