    1. A comfy memory foam chair cushion because if we have to sit all day for work, we might as well do it in utter ✨comfort✨.

    amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review: "Works great and helps to relieve some pressure from sitting. This is a great memory foam cushion for office chairs or your couch. You really can feel the difference. This is thick, and feels like it will last for a really long time. I've been using mine for a couple of weeks and already feel a little better. The cover is removable for washing, and the stitching is done really well. I recommend this to anyone who has to sit for more than a few hours." —phillygrl

Get it from Amazon for $32.95 (available in two colors).

    2. A pack of natural green tea oil-blotting sheets to help remove any excess oil on the skin for that matte look you love so much. Keep these bad boys in your bag to whip out and dab over your face at a moment's notice, keeping your makeup fresh all day.

    amazon.com

Promising review: "I purchased these on a whim a few months ago, and I've bought three more packs of them for friends and family. I always used to use the Clean & Clear oil blotting sheets, but these are so much better. They feel papery, which is better than the shiny feeling of the Clean & Clear ones. They also come out of the package much easier. With the Clean & Clear ones, you were always having to use a piece of sticky tape to pick up the next sheet, but this one comes out on its own after you pull a sheet, which is great. I can't recommend it enough." —Carly

    3. Noise-reducing earplugs that'll block background noise juuust enough so you can concentrate on work without that eerie "sound" you get from noise-cancelling headphones. You know the one. This is also perfect if you're sensitive to sounds!

    Reviewer holding the ear plugs
    amazon.com

I live on a very busy street and with my sensory issues, the sounds of trucks and motorcycles are too much during the day. I wear these all the time and they muffle those loud, distracting noises but still allow me to watch TV!

Promising review: "These are hands down the BEST earplugs I have ever purchased. They a discreet (not hot pink), easy to insert and remove, easy to clean, and most important they are comfortable. They come with three different sized tips to attach. This works perfect for me, as one ear requires a smaller size than the other. They fit a bit like earbuds but are much more comfortable. I can wear them for hours and they don't hurt my ears at all. They block out just the right amount of background noise, but I can still hear well enough to not be startled by someone walking up beside me that I didn't first see. I am so thankful for these earplugs, they have given me the freedom to be in public places without feeling overwhelmed by everyday sounds." —Ann G.

Promising review: I LOVE THIS PEN! I'm not a big jewelry person so when my fiancé proposed to me I was obviously stoked, but I was also terrified of having such a beautiful ring to take care of and having to take it in to get cleaned etc. So when I found this pen I was like "$5 ... sure why not, seems easy enough!" And I wish I took photos of it before the first use because my ring was GROSS! I was in awe at how well this worked and it literally takes four seconds to use. I will definitely purchase it again and I just bought a ton of them as gifts for my family members. This thing is perfect for people like me who aren't very into jewelry and aren't used to taking care of it! Seriously. Amazing product. It's basically like magic. The photos were taken after a few days after the last cleaning and then immediately after cleaning. But still WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!! —Imogene

    5. A steering wheel tray so when someone catches you eating fast food in the parking lot of Taco Bell like a weird food goblin (me the other day), you'll at least look like you planned it.

    amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review: "Since I am in university right now as a commuter, sometimes I spend a bit of time in my car as it is comfortable compared to uncomfortable desks/chairs at my campus. This table makes it easy to work inside the car for eating or working as it has two sides. One side works as a lunch tray with a spot for a drink and the other side is mainly flat for books or a computer." —Kevin H.

Promising review: "This little filter is great. It makes the perfect amount of cold brew for a week for me. I usually steep for anywhere between 12–24 hours depending on how strong I want it to be. Grind your beans coarse and fill with filtered water and toss it in the fridge, can't be any simpler. I used to always drop $3–$4 a day on iced coffee or the VSC cold brew from Starbucks, so I can't imagine how much money this has saved me." —Jacob S.

    amazon.com

You should also check out the company's weight chart to properly determine which blanket size is right for you.

Promising review: "After reading other reviews on weighted blankets, I decided to go with Luna, and I have bought two now, one as a gift. I love that the material is organic cotton, and the beads are not made of plastic. The cotton is light but strong. I have used this blanket for three or so months now. Having battled insomnia, restless legs, joint pain, and muscle pain, I had read that a weighted blanket could help. Honestly, I hardly have sleepless nights now. The blanket isn't too heavy but just heavy enough. and I love it!! Before I had this blanket, there were many nights I was awake until 3 a.m. due to insomnia and pain. Now, usually within a half-hour of winding down, I am asleep! It calms my restless legs, and really lessens muscle and joint pain! The blanket is sturdy, holding up well, and totally worth the money." —sunshine

    11. Drywall repair putty perfect for filling up holes made from moving decor around or even from unsightly cracks. Maybe you'll actually get your deposit back this time.

    amazon.com

Promising review: "Does exactly what it says. Rather than getting spackle, waiting for it to dry, sanding it down, and tweaking as needed, this cuts the time/effort down to 1) rub over a place in need of patching 2) wipe off excess. The hardest part is not accidentally getting the product on parts of the wall that don’t need it, but that’s easy to clean up, so it’s not a problem. I used this to patch holes in the wall from a former WiFi router and modem- other than the color difference from the patch to the paint, you’d never know it was patched. Great price, easy to use." —Amanda

    12. A PhoneSoap sanitizer because after the last year, we have definitely become very aware of germs and our phone is one of the biggest culprits. Flashback to me cooking and touching my phone screen with my grubby fingers to see the recipe. Ugh.

    Amazon, amazon.com

Yes, the photo on the right IS from a reviewer who tested the bacteria levels on their daughter's and husband's phones before and after use. GROSS.

Promising review: "I work in a large dental clinic with 50+ docs and even more assistants. Anyone who knows about dentistry knows that there are a lot of aerosols given out during almost every procedure. Since we don't have a radio in the operatories, I've had to use my phone for music. Before phone soap I had to wipe my phone down every time with Cavicide wipes...not the best for your phone. Enter PhoneSoap! I'm able to sanitize my phone without destroying it with cavicide! We've even tested and swabbed the phone for cultures before and after...this sucker works! Hands down, great investment. I'll be buying another one for the home because this one is staying in my office." —James

Promising review: "It’s so easy to use and fast! I wore this eyeliner in the dead heat of a humid Georgia summer and even the rest of me was wilted, my eyes looked fantastic! I bought two sets — one for home and one for travel. I wear glasses so I have to get really close to the mirror to make sure I don’t misstamp but it’s really hard to mess up. I will be buying again definitely!" —Chloe H.

    15. Biodegradable, all-natural bottle cleaning tablets because is there anything more annoying that trying to clean your water bottle or coffee tumbler?

A reviewer before and after photo of a bottle
    amazon.com

Promising review: "Totally worth the purchase. Sure, you could maybe compound something similar but these are so easy to use that it's just not worth the hunting and gathering of various ingredients. I split one tablet in half with a bench scrapper because the package said to dilute with 1 liter of water and my Hydroflasks are 18 oz each so I figured a 1/2 tablet per Hydroflask would be sufficient. I typically store lattes in my Hydroflasks and they had an impressive amount of buildup on the inside so I opted for 1/2 tablet + nearly boiling water + overnight soak time. The next morning I dumped out the water, gave them a quick scrub with a bottle brush, and WOW. THEY'RE LIKE NEW!!! Or as close to new as you can get after 5+ years of daily use. Totally worth it." —Jessica Bills

    16. A Chom-Chom roller to gather up pet hair from basically anywhere in your home. No really. Couches, clothes, bedding, cat towers, rugs — you name it. The best part? It has a little compartment that stores the fur for easy cleaning!

    amazon.com

Promising review: "I have had many different pet hair rollers and this beats everything hands-down. The compartment that traps the hair is genius. With many pet hair removal tools the hair sort of flies in the air a little, you have handfuls, or have to clean the brush on something....this baby traps the fur in a little compartment that is easy to empty. I sent links to this product to lots of my friends who are owned by cats and told them it will be life-changing." —DLB

    17. Liquid ant traps that will effectively attract ants into the bait, getting rid of that annoying infestation you've been dealing with in your kitchen all year. No more snacks for you, Flik!

A bait trap filled with ants
    amazon.com

Promising review: "Over the spring, I had a massive ant problem in my kitchen. They only seemed to be going for water! I couldn’t keep them out of my electric kettle! I started putting these traps in their path to the kettle and they SWARMED it! It was crazy to see how many ants were there. But that’s exactly what they are supposed to do! They all come and bring it back to the queen and then it kills the colony. After two weeks, I had about an 80% decrease in the amount of ants I was seeing in my kitchen. Now I still keep them out on the counter but I hardly see any ants at all! This product works really well! It doesn’t have a noticeable smell and all the liquid stays contained in the trap so there is really no clean up!" —Brenna Engstrand

    18. A portable bug-bite suction tool because, hi, it's summer. I literally have five mosquito bites on me as I type this. I think we *all* need this.

    Amazon, amazon.com

Place the tool over the bug bite, pull the handles up to suck out the venom and push it back down to release. The suction can be pretty strong so be careful and try a small amount of suction first. As you get more comfortable, you can add more suction.

Promising review: "I am a magnet for bites of all kinds and carry topical and medicines with me at all times — so I figured this would be a good product to see if it really works. I woke up with a bug bite on my arm so I used this little tool (three times per the instructions) — immediately after using, it stopped itching! And less than 24 hours later the bump/bite is gone! There is a very faint red mark from using the thing, but a small price to pay IMO. Bottom line: it’s awesome. I’m carrying it with me everywhere!" —Rebecca

    19. A portable vacuum that conveniently plugs right into your car so you don't have to worry about paying for a vacuum or finding an extension cord at home.

    Stephanie Hope / BuzzFeed

When I tell you that I use this product often, I mean it. It's so easy to plug in, vacuum dirt from the floor or seat, and put it away. It comes with three different attachments and an extra filter! My tip is to use the brush attachment for everything as it will kick dirt off the carpet fibers, making it easier to suction.

Promising review: "I'm glad to have such a great stuff in my car. Yes, it is not a powerful as my vacuum cleaner in the house, however, it cleaned out all the garbage, which I accumulated over the past autumn and winter in the car. At the end of October my husband and I went to the ocean and as we tried to be neat — the sand was still in the car. Finally, I got rid of it! I am always at my desk and constantly looking at three different monitors and, of course, there's also my iPhone and iPad and TV here and there in between. It's a lot. Promising review: "This stuff is absolutely AMAZING. My wife and I were getting tired of looking at our worn out cabinets and wood paneling and were very close to paying a professional thousands of dollars to refinish it all, but then we came across this product. Our paneling and cabinets were looking rough. We have two dogs that jumped up and scratched places, we also had an area that was damaged by water spots where our dog bowls were, and several other areas that were just worn from heavy traffic. This stuff was like a magic eraser for water spots, scratches, scuffs, and any other blemish. We simply wiped the product on with a paper towel and let it sit for 20 minutes before wiping it off with a clean towel. Everything looks brand-new. I'm buying a couple more so we can finish our cabinets and wood paneling. We're so glad we found this product." —Kris

    26. A silicone sink strainer and stopper because the last thing we want is a clogged sink from all the little bits of food that you rinse off your plates. It may seem like a barely any food, but it collects quickly!

person using silicone sink strainer and stopper and it says "twist knob to engage stopper, twist again to drain sink"
    Amazon

These are stain resistant and dishwasher safe.

Promising review: "After trying multiple sink strainers, I'm thrilled to report that the OXO strainer is the clear winner. I was sick and tired of the strainer that would move itself into the sink stopper position, and make grungy water backup while I was rinsing stuff, making me have to put my hands in there to try to get the post turned the correct way to let the water flow down the drain. Frustrating. This strainer is simply a strainer. It grabs big pieces of whatever you're putting in the sink, and it's easy to pick the strainer up and bang it against the garbage can to discharge the trapped stuff into the trash. I've had zero problems with food getting stuck to the strainer- even melted cheese falls right off. My last strainer was the wire type, and I spent a good amount of time cleaning and cursing that thing because everything seemed to stick and meld itself to the wire. I've had no problems with this strainer. It stays clean looking, and is easy to clean. I just empty it, wipe it off with a soapy paper towel, rinse, and replace. Magic!" —housewench

    A crock pot
    Amazon

The stoneware and glass lid are dishwasher-safe! Psst, you can check out amazing slow cooker recipes on Tasty!

Promising review: "Why would no one tell me the magic of slow cookers right when they became a thing?! Seriously this thing is a busy person's savior or in my case, a lazy person's dream! This one is plenty large enough and incredibly easy to use. I mean really look at the buttons on this thing, if you can't figure that out, you have other things to sort out rather than look at slow cookers. Reviews say this one runs a bit hotter than most, but I've followed a handful of recipes and their cook times seem to be accurate. I really love that this model will automatically switch to keep warm after the timer you set expires. That last part is crucial for me because I work 10+ hour shifts and most recipes even on low are about 8 hours. That keep warm feature makes sure my food isn't burnt, but still warm when I get home." —Peter Q.

    30. A supportive bath pillow for anyone who really loves the idea of baths, but can't seem to deal with resting their head on their tub.

    the white bath pillow
    Amazon

This waterproof pillow has seven suction cups so you don't have to worry about it fall off after you found the perfect spot to put it.

Promising review: "My husband bought this for me because I LOVE taking baths; it's a nice way to relax and unwind after a long day, but I've recently had some health problems which has caused me to lose a lot of weight and taking baths has become excruciating. Due to the lack of extra cushion back there now, lying back on the porcelain tub was extremely painful on my spine/bones, and I had resigned to the fact that I wouldn't be taking baths anymore. But, GOOD NEWS, this pillow is a dream come true. I wish I had always had this pillow. It's soooo comfortable! I could almost nap in the tub (but don't!)." —Amazon Customer

    Amazon, amazon.com

Promising review: "This stuff works sooooo well. I have tried many other brands of pet stain remover, and this one is definitely the best. I have two indoor cats with hairball issues; they are often spitting up hairballs, or stomach acid only before or after the passing of the hairball. (Sorry for the TMI.) Of course, they only want to do this on the carpet and rugs. This stain remover effectively removes the bodily fluid, hairball, etc., with a nice, fresh minty scent and no sticky residue. I keep a bottle upstairs and downstairs so I don't have to go hunting for it during those 2 a.m. hairball vomiting sessions (because, of course, that's the only time they want to throw up)." —Heather Coburn-Schill

Promising review: "Since moving into this apartment I have gradually come to hate this tub because of the water stains I have tried every product on the market including crazy things from the internet like Coca-Cola, vinegar you name it..this stuff with a couple of swipes/scrubs and a toothbrush for the textured areas completely cleaned my tub in a way that I can only tell you excited me to the core of my being. All I can tell you is buy it and I wish you the best!" —Michelle

    33. A toilet night-light so your treacherous journey to the bathroom past the noisy toys in the hall can be lit without causing a ruckus among the cave dwellers. AKA your kids.

This LED toilet light has 16 colors that can work on a rotation or as a solid color.

Promising review: "This seemingly silly little gadget has turned out to be great! The light level (brightness) can be dimmed down if desired, and the color can be set to whatever you want, but the bottom line is that you don't need to turn on a bright overhead light (which wakes me up and makes me angry, not a good combination) when you need to go into the bathroom at night. Cleaning it is a breeze, too; what seems like it's going to be a problem...isn't. I can't recommend this toilet-night light highly enough, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Could be on the gift list this December." —Lee R. Gurr

    34. And finally, a bidet attachment because you'll be bummed if you don't jump on this bandwagon immediately if not sooner. I bought this bidet a year ago and I will never go back to just toilet paper again!

    Tushy

I was a little bit intimidated by the pieces it comes with, but I (a person who has absolutely zero skill in plumbing or house projects) put it together myself with no issues! You can choose the strength of the flow when cleaning and it even allows you to aim the hose to the perfect spot!

Promising review: "It makes little sense to use dry paper to clean your bum. Tushy is an easy to install affordable way to improve your hygiene. No need to get the one with heated water, we have both models and room temp is perfectly comfortable. We love the Tushy and definitely recommend it!" —Constance F.

Get it from Tushy for $99 (originally $129, available in six colors and three limited edition colors)
