    2. An Echelon stationary bike for that top-of-the-line feel with your budget in mind *and* access to 1,600+ cycling classes you can take any time of day!

This bike comes with a free 90-day subscription to Echelon Premier Membership.

Promising review: "Why spend $2,500 when you can get this awesome bike? Sure it doesn't have a gargantuan screen but you can get the same exact workout with this bike when you use a phone and tablet, which we all probably have lying around. Easy to assemble, easy to connect, and a seat which miraculously did not cause pain in the rear as I was expecting! The only thing I'd change is the pedals; the cages are hard to strap into. But they feel pretty sturdy under your feet and don't make any noise! The bike is silent too. In love." —Ana

Get it from Walmart for $497 (originally $599).

    3. Orrrr an upgraded Echelon EX5S with a 21.5-inch screen, rear dumbbell holders, two water bottle holders, an extra large seat cushion, and more so you can spend your hard-earned money on a piece of equipment that works as hard as you do, and actually feels like it was worth the investment.

Promising review: "Having a bike in my own home keeps me motivated. Not to mention it cuts out the commute to a gym, leaving me more time for whatever I want to do. The bike itself is well built for a fair price." —Jeff P.

Get it from Target for $1,499.99 or Echelon Fitness for $1,499.99.

    4. Or! A recumbent bike that is cleverly equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, 29 (!!!) customizable workouts, 25 (WHAT) levels of resistance, two LCD displays, a large seat, *and* a ventilated back. AKA the perfect bike.

reviewer photo of the black bike

Promising review: "I am a gym rat. I have been to my local gym easily 99% of the days that I have been in the country since I was 15 years old. I am now 61. So, when our gyms closed because of COVID-19, I was a little frantic. I ordered this bike to supplement my home workouts. It took me about three hours to assemble. But, I had the help of two dogs, who lick my face every time I kneel down, and whose tails are very good at knocking over my precisely arranged groups of screws. I could have assembled it in 1.5 hours without the 'help.' The bike compares well to those at the gym. It also compares well to the bikes I bought for my physical therapy clinic. The gym bikes and those that I bought for my old clinic (I am now retired) cost around $3,500 each. This Nautilus bike rides smoothly, has a very adequate display, and is comfortable to sit in. The seat is easy to adjust and it has all of the workout programs that anyone would want. I recommend it highly. It is helping me during this quarantine period. But, I will also use it after this madness is over. In summary: Great bike for the price!" —Bruce Mendelson

Get it from Amazon for $588.22.

    5. A portable Bluetooth speaker so you can perfectly time the beat drop to your squats and hear it with some serious bass.

The Bluetooth speaker covered in condensation while sitting on a wet ledge

It has a built-in mic to take calls from your workout buddy from up to 30 feet away. It's water-resistant, and has 8 hours of play time before you need to charge it.

Promising review: "I use this speaker almost daily. The music sounds great, and my podcasts have a nice clean sound too. This is super easy to use — my phone synced almost instantly on setup. I will say that once the battery warning says it's on medium, it isn't very long before it runs out altogether. I'd say I easily get the reported hours of battery life promised, but it does seem odd that medium doesn't truly seem to indicate it's in the middle of its battery life. I just know now to start charging it as soon as I hear that little alert. No biggie." —C. Huerta

Get it from Amazon for $129 (available in four colors).

    6. A squat rack that'll create the perfect nook in your home gym to nail your barbell squats and strengthen that tush 🍑 .

Reviewer photo of the squat rack in their home gym

This cage has a weight capacity of 800-pounds! That's a lot of plates! It has 19 height levels, two pairs of safety bars, and rear stability bars.

Promising review: "Amazon delivered this at 6am. It's pretty easy to assemble by yourself but it wouldn't take as long with another set of hands. It's also pretty sturdy with minimal wobble. DO NOT TIGHTEN BOLTS UNTIL THE VERY END. I put a level on mine as I tightened all the bolts to make sure it's straight. I would tighten the back crossbars first to get it semi straight then work your way around. The chrome safety bars are heavy and they fit in the holes perfectly. Of note, the nuts and bolts are slightly oily so you will get black marks on your fingers. I used a socket wrench and an open ended wrench to tighten all the bolts. The instructions are simple to follow. It literally tells you step by step so don't skip around. The bolts are marked as to which step to use them all." —Allan Hargrave

Get it from Amazon for $259.63+ (available with attachments).

    7. Wall-mounted mirror panels so you can actually *see* yourself workout, make sure you're using the right form, and to take the cutest after-workout selfie for the 'Gram.

Promising review: " I have been using it for a few days since I received it. I feel that this is enough for home use. The sound of running is also within the acceptable range. Easy to install, can hold a tablet, and comes with a wrist control band! This treadmill can be folded up, take up no space for easy storage and can be wheeled freely." —Allison

Get it from Amazon for $329.99 (available in two colors).

Model is sitting on the floor mats while looking at their laptop
    Home Depot

One pack covers about 16 square feet, so the splurge adds up, but it's *so* worth it for a cute home gym!

Promising review: "These assemble easily and provide a nice resilient cushion for standing on a concrete floor. I used this under a radial arm saw in our shop. The faux wood is nice, and once assembled, the edges blend together well. These tiles in a 4-pack come with removable clean edges for 2 sides of each tile. In other words, you can easily combine multiple 4-packs of this and always have clean edges. This is a huge improvement over standing on concrete, but is not as much cushion as the more common 3/4" foam mat material. The advantages are that it has this nice finished wood look, it has great grip on the floor and on the top, and they assemble easily." —CustomWebProgrammer

Get a pack of four from Home Depot for $24.99.

Promising review: "So glad I finally invested in a Reformer and could not be happier. The platform guides so smoothly and the Exercise DVD's have helped me get started with basic movements. Having the rebounder option makes cardio fun again, as well as easier on my body. This Reformer is so versatile and so easy to use." —LMMM

Get it from Walmart for $569 (originally $800).

    14. Peel-and-stick wallpaper to add a really cute accent wall to your home gym, making it the go-to spot for your workout videos you've started to share with your friends!
