    Rabindranath Tagore Once Made A Bangla Version Of "Auld Lang Syne"

    Long before the Beatles had delved into Eastern music, Rabindranath Tagore- Noble Laureate and Artist Extraordinaire- had done the opposite. "Purano Shei Diner Kotha" (Memories of Days Bygone), one of his most popular songs, borrows its melody and sentiments from the traditional Western folk tune "Auld Lang Syne"
