These Are My Favourite, Miracle Working Skincare Tips And Tricks To Get You Through The Dry Winter

    Winter is coming...

Hello everyone! With Christmas now out of the way and the new year fast approaching, I thought that now would be the perfect opportunity to share with you some of my favourite skincare tips and tricks to get you through the long winter ahead! Keep reading to find out some of my favourite, miracle-working tricks to keep your skin looking rejuvenated all winter long!

Tip One: Drink Lots of Water and Stay Hydrated!

    Tip Two: SPF is key!

Tip Three: You don't need to spend tons of money on a product for it to be good.

Tip Four: Using lots of a product doesn't always lead to better skin.

It's important to bare in mind that using more of a product isn't always a good thing. While it can be really tempting to pile on tons of different products every morning and night, using too much product can actually clog pores, especially if the moisturizers aren’t noncomedogenic. Keep in mind that certain ingredients don't work well together and therefore should not be used at the same time. Be sure to do some research into the ingredients and contents of each of your products before usage to ensure they work well with your other products and will work the way you want them to.

Tip Five: Layer your products from thinnest to thickest in terms of texture.

When beginning your skincare routine, it's important to begin with the thinnest, water-like products such as an essence or serum and then follow with heavier moisturizers and oils, which help to seal everything in. Actually, since oils have occlusive properties, they literally create a barrier between the skin and the air, so putting on top of them really does nothing.

Tip Six: Save the bulk of your skincare routine for bedtime.

Tip Seven: Treat your neck like it's merely an extension of your face.

So that's it! Those are my top seven skincare tips to help get you through the upcoming winter. Hopefully you learned a thing or two about good skincare habits that you are willing to implement it into your skin regimen for the best possible skin this winter.
