The better you are at admitting you are wrong to your students, and actually being ok with and learning from it, the more they will respect you. Helping them to understand that it’s ok to make mistakes and move on is a huge life lesson each teacher has to cover.

Remember that no matter what age they are, they are people too. I get grumpy and antsy having to sit still for 7 hours at a time, so it makes sense when they do the same. Give them breaks to be kids too, rather than just working them non-stop.
