We Spoke To The Dude Who Went Viral For Wearing A Donald Trump Shirt At The UKIP Conference

"I thought it would be funny."

Last month, Nigel Farage spoke at one of US presidential candidate Donald Trump's rallies in Mississippi.

This UKIP supporter went viral yesterday after he turned up at the party's conference in Bournemouth wearing a Trump T-shirt.

There actually is a man wearing a t-shirt with Donald Trumps face plastered on it at the UKIP conference

Joshua Dalton, a 19-year-old from West Yorkshire, told BuzzFeed News he bought the shirt off eBay.

"I bought it for 15 quid and thought if I wear it to the conference it would be funny," he said.

Dalton wasn't the only Trump-inspired presence at conference, as "Make Britain great again" hats were also on sale to delegates.

Farage's replacement as party leader, Diane James, does not share her predecessor's enthusiasm for Trump, however, saying the "jury is out" on the Republican candidate.
