Nashville Pastor Starts A Nonprofit To Help Those Who Have Struggled With Mental Illness

Jarrid Wilson is a Pastor who created Anthem of Hope to help those who struggle with depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicide, and addiction.

Jarrid and Juli Wilson started the non-profit organization Anthem of Hope to help those who are struggling find faith in the midst of their brokenness.

Jarrid has openly spoken about his struggles with depression and how he has overcome it with his faith.

The organization offers suicide training and counseling for people to partake in.

The goal of the organization is to help people and churches know how to help those who are struggling and redirect them to seek God. They work to promote awareness, community, resources, and support.

AOH's core values help people know that God loves them, that their life matters, and that they have a purpose in life. I truly believe that for those who are struggling, knowing that God loves them and that their life matters will help then have a spark of hope for their future.

Jarrid recently accepted a pastoral position at Home Church Nashville, where he and his family reside.

He has made a name for himself online as a blogger, which he still continues by writing for other blogs and his podcasts.

Jarrid is also an author, and released his latest book "Love is Oxygen" in September 2017.
