    Orange We Ever Gonna Learn?

    We're watching you, bullies.

    Bully!

    For anti-bullying awareness day, students were asked to wear something orange. On that day, the three kids I pick up after school - a 2nd, a 3rd, and a 5th grader - proudly showed me their orange selections. I complimented them for being socially responsible. Then, to teach a lesson they hadn't learned, I asked, "Did any of the bullies wear orange?" In surprised realization, they tried not to smile when they answered, "No."

    It appears that there will need to be a different approach to anti-bullying awareness. That, or the use of a more fashionable color next time.
