The 25 Best Little Mix Songs Of All Time, Ranked

There was never any question about what would be #1.

Editor's note: BuzzFeed does not support the actions and blackfishing of former Little Mix member Jesy Nelson, so instead we choose to celebrate the current members of the group.

Little Mix is a girl band with 10 years and five UK No. 1 singles under their belt, just to name a few of their many, many accomplishments. So, naturally, they have a plethora of fantastic songs. And while it was a difficult task, here are their 25 best songs of all time, ranked (according to me).

Oh, and before we begin, let me make one thing clear: All of these songs are spectacular.

    25. "How Ya Doin'?" ft. Missy Elliott (DNA US deluxe edition)

Originally, "How Ya Doin'?" did not make the cut for this here list because I'm not the biggest biggest fan of the verses, but then I heard the chorus again, and, well, how could I not?

And, just for kicks, here's a flawless live version.

    24. "No More Sad Songs" (Glory Days)

The song has such a clear, well-executed mood. Sure, it's a little cheesy, and a little forgettable, but, at the end of the day, "No More Sad Songs" simply gets you.

    23. "Strip" ft. Sharaya J (LM5)

    Syco Music youtube.com

Some songs are growers, and some are show-ers. "Strip" is such a big show-er that I forget just how good it is when I'm not listening to it.

    22. "Little Me" (Salute)

I don't want to talk about the "Little Me" lyrics, thank you very much. Nope. Let's move on so I don't dwell in the song's emotions! Instead I'll say that sonically, it's not the most original song.

    21. "Power" ft. Stormzy (Glory Days – The Platinum Edition)

    Syco Music youtube.com

"You're the man, but I got the power." If that "but" were an "and," the absolute tune that is "Power" would rank higher on this list. That being said, the song's "motorbike" section is not for me.

    20. "Woman Like Me" ft. Nicki Minaj (LM5)

    View this video on YouTube

    Syco Music youtube.com

It's an undeniable bop, even though I wish there weren't Minaj's rap, because I feel "Woman Like Me" would flourish even more with a vocal-heavy bridge. Obviously I work in music, I'm an expert.

    19. "Love Me Or Leave Me" (Get Weird)

    Syco Music youtube.com

No one would complain if Little Mix did an entire album of ballads, because their fucking voices. If that ballad album ever does become a thing, I would ask that they include "Love Me Or Leave Me" and re-record it so there is more of the great Leigh-Anne Pinnock, who's tragically sidelined here.

    18. "Hair" ft. Sean Paul (Get Weird Expanded Edition)

    Syco Music youtube.com

The original version of this banger, without Sean Paul, is fantastic, too, but he adds a certain energy, a certain chill, playful, rooftop-hang vibe, that I can only describe as "Sean Paul." You know exactly what I mean.

    17. "Holiday" (Confetti)

    Syco Music youtube.com

Little Mix can do fun, light, saturated pop better than maybe anyone. I mean, you can't be sad while listening to "Holiday." You just can't.

    16. "Between Us" (Between Us)

    RCA / Sony Music youtube.com

An abundance of purposeful sentimentality is likely to really, really annoy me, but "Between Us", with all its references to past Little Mix songs and its earnest vocals, works brilliantly. Even the word "synergy" lands, somehow. That is the magic of Little Mix. They move you, with more than words. And I salute that. (Sorry, I know I gotta not.)

    15. "Is Your Love Enough?" (Glory Days – The Platinum Edition)

    Sony Music youtube.com

Dua Lipa's "New Rules" is obviously stellar, but the fact that that 2017 hit owned the concept of lyrical "1, 2, 3" means that "Is Your Love Enough?" never got its proper due. I'll be a little bitter about that forever.

    14. "The End" (Get Weird)

    Syco Music youtube.com

This is the pinnacle of Little Mix a capella. "The End" plays in your ear and it makes every other song in the world seem dumb.

    13. "Wings" (DNA)

Nearly a decade and countless listens later and this song still hits like you're hearing it for the first time. Is it perfect? No. Does that matter? Not really.

    12. "I Love You" (Get Weird)

    View this video on YouTube

    Sony Music youtube.com

While I listen to Little Mix nearly constantly, not all of their songs are my typical taste in music (see "Woman Like Me" and "Sweet Melody", for example). "I Love You" does not fit into that category; it's right up my alley. Songs that feel like they belong in an '80s love scene just work for me.

    11. "Move" (Salute)

    Syco Music youtube.com

"Move" has the vibe of an impromptu party on an August Wednesday night and the percussive feel of a great Ed Sheeran song, but, importantly, it kind of sounds like nothing else I've ever heard. If someone ranked it #1, I would completely understand.

    10. "Love Me Like You" (Get Weird)

    Syco Music youtube.com

Personally, "Love Me Like You" is probably my fifth favorite Little Mix song, but when it comes to creating a big, thoughtful ranking, I cannot put "Love Me Like You" above any of the rest of these #10 jams. It's simply not a "better song" than the following, no matter how much I adore it.

And, just for kicks, here's a flawless live version.

    9. "Salute" (Salute)

As Perrie Edwards said, "If you think about it, we’re 10 years in our career, and we still open up our shows a lot of the time, or festivals, with 'Salute' because it’s that bitch. It punches you in the face, and that’s what I love about it."

    8. "Touch" (Glory Days)

    View this video on YouTube

    Syco Music youtube.com

Sonically, "Touch" is better than #8. You know that, I know that, Karen Kilgariff knows that. But the lyrics don't land for me in the same way as #7's or #6's, so, sadly, we must leave "Touch" here.

And, just for kicks, here's a flawless live version.

    7. "Shout Out to My Ex" (Glory Days)

    Syco Music youtube.com

I may be more likely to listen to "Touch" on repeat, but the lyrics of "Shout Out to My Ex" are the stuff of legends. This song makes me grateful for everything shitty people have done to me – well, not everything.

    6. "Sweet Melody" (Confetti)

    View this video on YouTube

    Syco Music youtube.com

"Sweet Melody" was my most-played song of 2020 – that's right, over anything from Future Nostalgia or Folklore – for a reason, folks. Do do dodododo dodododo dodo dodo. DO DO DODODODO DODODODO DODO DODO. Anyway.

    5. "Secret Love Song, Pt. II" (Get Weird Deluxe Edition)

If someone tries to pretend the members of Little Mix aren't some of the best singers alive right now, play them this song. Then begin the process of slowly poisoning them.

And, just for kicks, here's a flawless live version.

    4. "No" (Between Us)

Isn't it fun when a song comes out exactly when you need it? And isn't it even better when that song is bonkers good? The lyrics! The vocals! The chorus! THE CHORUS!!!

    3. "Confetti" feat. Saweetie

    View this video on YouTube

    Syco Music youtube.com

The sheer confidence and take-no-shit joy here. While the original version holds its own successfully, the remix is richer, deeper, fiercer. That is partially because of Saweetie's awesome rap, but it's also due to the amazing extra ad-libs from our Presidents Edwards, Pinnock, and Thirlwall.

And, just for kicks, here's a flawless acoustic version (without Saweetie).

Any human being capable of listening to "Black Magic" without dancing is an untrustworthy monster. It is a perfect carefree pop song. You cannot get any better.
