Which is why I wanted to ask you, fellow daughters, what's the best piece of advice your mom's ever given you?
Maybe your mom is a financial advisor and gave you life-changing advice about how you should pay down your debts with the highest interest rates first, because they'll end up costing you more in the long run if you don't.
Or maybe your mom learned from experience and told you to always pack an extra pair of underwear in your carry-on in case your checked baggage gets lost.
Or maybe, like my mom, yours always tells you when you're nervous about going after what you want, "All they can say is 'no.'"
