The bell Jar by Sylvia Plath, it made me feel normal and understand that I wasn’t alone in my feelings and mental health. It helped me seek help as it makes you realise you aren’t alone or weird for feeling the way you do in depression and anxiety, no one has quite put it into words…Â
No one talks about the recovery your body needs too whilst taking care of a baby! Especially if you’ve had stitches, not being able to wee comfortably or sit down! People only ever ask about the baby when you’re the one that did all the hard work giving birth
