13 Things You Can Do In New York For The Price Of A Single Theatre Ticket

$200 can buy you a hell of a lot more than two hours.

Musical theatre is massive part of my life, so you can only imagine that when I booked my holiday to New York I had a long list of tickets to hunt for. And while I expected them to be expensive, I was horrified by what I found.

$89 for Come From Away? Waitress tickets starting from $99? Oh, A Bronx Tale has tickets for $39, but only if you're willing to suffer through restricted viewing.

It would cost me $213 to see Dear Evan Hansen the week I'm in New York.

As much as I would love to see the show, I just can't justify spending that much on a single theatre ticket, or ask my friends to do the same to keep me company.

I did a little digging, and it turns out there's a lot more I can do with that money. So my apologies to Pasek and Paul, but looks like I'll be giving the show a miss.
