I think I made it pretty clear that I don’t know the circumstances when I wrote, “No one has any clue what the intentions of the guy were.” And, like you said, the description of how he asked her out isn’t described.
Look, I understand that she was hurt by this guy in the past, but going through an elaborate scheme to tell a guy off is pretty childish. Sure the dude should have apologized first and/or realized that straight up asking her out without addressing their past isn’t very tactful, but in the end she could have simply said no and given the exact reason face to face like an adult. Also, the whole “fuckable” line is borderline rude. No one has any clue what the intentions of the guy were. Again, I am not defending his actions and he definitely was terrible to this woman when she was younger. The guy should have owned up to his actions before ever asking for a date and the woman should have simply said no.
Response to Was Mitt Romney Right About Everything?:
This article proves that some Romney supporters are living under the somewhat delusional assumption that anything would be different had Romney been elected. Does anyone honestly think that a more hardline approach towards Russia would have prompted Putin to hand over Snowden or reject the Assad regime? Or, after Romney’s election, would Detroit have suddenly rebounded and become an industrial hub once again? It is impossible to know, but quite unlikely. Using “Things would have been better if…” as an argument is both tired and fallacious.
