At this morning’s White House Women and the Economy Forum, President Obama argued that “the conversation [about women] has been oversimplified.”
“Women are not some monolithic block. Women are not an interest group,” he added. “You shouldn’t be treated that way.” The room, full of women, (but not a monolithic block of them) erupted in applause.
