We bought white lanterns indifferent styles heights etc and used them for centerpieces, and guests took them home at the end of the night. We splurged on View Masters with our photos in them, guests loved them! A touch of whimsy!

If you feel up to it, let the professionals dazzle you and give them freedom! I gave our florists and baker a budget and a general color theme to work with and walked away! They know what they are doing and you can turn your attention to something else.
