    1. A bottle of Truff truffle-infused hot sauce you'll probably want to start planning your meals around — it's THAT good.

    BuzzFeed / Hannah Loewentheil

BuzzFeed Writer Hannah Loewentheil is a biiiiiig fan of this delicious sauce:

"There's one ingredient that makes even my most average home cooking taste amazing, and it's this TRUFF truffle-infused hot sauce. I first heard about TRUFF on a list of Oprah's favorite things, and I knew she would never lead me astray. So I quickly realized I needed TRUFF in my own kitchen.

There are three kids of TRUFF hot sauces: the classic black truffle sauce, a 'hotter' sauce, and the crown jewel, the creme de la creme, a white truffle hot sauce. Look, the white truffle-infused hot sauce quite literally tastes like heaven, but IMO, the classic black truffle hot sauce is the most versatile and a staple in my kitchen. And while at first $20+ seemed like an absurd price to pay for hot sauce, this stuff is worth the price tag. I mean...truffles. And here's the thing: I've tried plenty of truffle-infused hot sauces, olive oils, and what-nots in the past, but they often taste overpowering or low-quality. TRUFF hot sauces are the perfect balance of decadent truffle, heat, spice, and a tiny bit of sweetness. Now I'm completely and most likely irrevocably hooked to this liquid gold. I slather it on pretty much everything savory from eggs and tacos to sandwiches and fried rice. If you're looking for a way to add flavor to your home cooking or turn basic meals into pure extravagance, you should probably invest in a bottle of TRUFF."

Get Truff from Amazon: the black truffle hot sauce for $17.98, the "hotter" sauce for $17.98, and the white truffle hot sauce for $34.99.

    2. A garbage-disposal foaming cleaner to scrub away the stinky grime that builds up on the blades and in the pipes.

    Amazon, amazon.com

    Look at that foam go!

Promising review: "It seems counterintuitive to put a little packet down your garbage disposal to clean it, but this does actually seem to work, at least for getting out weird smells that baking soda and vinegar don't really touch. I scrub the sink down first, especially around the garbage disposal area, rinse it down, and then just follow the directions on the package. I have used it with single, large-size sinks and with double sinks — only difference is that the double sink will have blue cleaning foam rise up the drain, which you rinse away when the disposal sounds clear again. I have tried the foaming cleaner in a can, but unfortunately it stopped coming out of the can about 10% of the way through. Went back to this tried-and-true." —KS

Get it from Amazon for $7.87.

    3. A simplehuman trash can you'll probably cry tears of joy over if you hate germs, because now you'll never have to physically touch the garbage can again.

    Heather Braga / BuzzFeed / Via instagram.com, simplehuman / Via instagram.com

It wouldn't even be a stretch to tell you my simplehuman trash can is the light of my life right now. I often finding myself awkwardly waving my hand over OTHER garbage cans expecting them to magically open like mine does. Oops.

Promising review: "Wow! This can is worth every penny. It looks beautiful and opens with your voice or hand motion. Just plug it in and you are all set. I can tell it to open 10 feet away (or a little more) and the lid opens. Best money I have ever spent for a trash can. The quality is unbelievable!!!" —Brad

Get it from Bed Bath and Beyond for $199.99.

    4. A SinkShroom strainer you won't know how you lived without because it'll keep your kitchen sink unclogged no matter how much gunk you fill it with.

    Heather Braga / BuzzFeed, Amazon

I bought this for myself (since I'm clearly a REAL adult) and OMG. This thing REALLY works. Usually when my husband makes sauce from scratch I'm left with chunks of tomatoes throughout my sink and water that WILL NOT drain — that was until I bought the SinkShroom. My mom was so impressed she bought one, too. It's a serious game-changer.

Promising review: "I’ve been a fan of the SinkShroom and TubShroom, and this is the best product from the line so far. My kitchen sinks simply do not clog any more, so there’s no more reaching into a bunch of water to unclog anything with my hand." —Brady Amerson

Get it from Amazon for $12.99.

    5. A kitchen gadget you can use to dice onions in a flash — save your uncontrollable crying for the next time you watch The Notebook.

    amazon.com

Promising review: "I use it regularly to chop many different kinds of vegetables, including onions, celery, mushrooms and carrots. Works well for apples too. I find that it is a terrific time-saver. It admittedly can be slightly challenging getting all the food pieces out of the chopper parts, but the nylon bristle brush that comes with it makes it a relatively easy job. I have used my chopper almost daily for several weeks now. I am actually finding that I’m more eager to cook since getting this thing." —Owen Knowles

Get it from Amazon for $21.97.

    6. A pack of oven liners to protect the bottom of your oven from any overflow/oozing and let you continue on pretending you're competing on The Great British Baking Show worry-free.

an apple pie inside the oven that has dripped liquid onto a mat below it
    Amazon

Promising review: "I expected to be happy, but I'm thrilled! Each mat is pliable and fits the entire width of my standard oven. When the mat is against the back wall, it extends up to but not over the front lip of the floor. On first use, pizza cheese and sauce dripped onto the front edge of the mat and onto that uncovered lip. The baked-on cheese and sauce slid right off the mat! Effortlessly! After I cleaned up the lip, I layered a second mat to cover the lip. These mats are so great that I almost want food to drip on them so I can show off how wonderful they are." —Artset Outset

Get a pack of three from Amazon for $13.99.

    7. Or fume-free oven cleaner that'll help you clean up the mess you've inevitably made if you don't own the previously mentioned oven liners.

    amazon.com

Promising review: "Simply UNBELIEVEABLE. Fume-free and no gloves needed, but dissolves ANYTHING cooked on! Had not cleaned oven EVER. Simply sprayed on, shut door overnight, and wiped off with paper towels. Do not have to dread cleaning oven ever again! Can use for everyday spot cleaning with only having to let sit for couple hours for minor things. Used on broiler pan that would not scrub clean with even steel wool, no need to scrub ever again now! Crockpot leaked over bowl and burned on inside heating chamber; just sprayed, covered, wiped in morning. Plan on using to clean grill in spring and am sure it will make it a breeze." —Andrew J.

Get it from Amazon for $6.44.

    8. A set of LED light saber chopsticks you'll probably misplace in your utensil drawer but then have the opportunity to exclaim "THESE are the ones I've been looking for!" once you finally find them.

    amazon.com, Emma Lord / BuzzFeed

Promising review: "I purchased these for a friend's birthday present (he is a sushi waiter) and these are flippin' AMAZING. I ordered two sets by mistake, but I am totally keeping the second pair for another gift (or for myself!). These are sure to be great conversation pieces and attention-getters. Way to go!" —T. Redwood

Get two pairs from Amazon for $12.97.

    9. A mug warmer, because even if you're the self-proclaimed "busiest person on the planet" you deserve to have hot coffee.

    amazon.com

We've all been there — making our coffee or tea only to set it down and forget about until it's cooled down completely. Thanks to this mug warmer none of us ever have to suffer through another cold cup of caffeine again! It has received over 4K five-star reviews on Amazon, so you know it's a big freakin' deal.

Promising review: "I'm a chronic coffee forgetter. I can't drink it straight from the brewer (too hot for me) so I set my mug down to cool slightly and often get distracted. Of course I then come back to my coffee to find it's already cold. I've currently got the warmer at my office and it's working great. I can sip my coffee leisurely over the course of an hour and it's still nice and warm." —Elle

Get it from Amazon for $8.99

    10. A Mickey waffle maker so you can recreate the classic Parks staple and chow down while planning your next magical vacation.

    amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review: "Works great. You can only make one little waffle at a time but it only takes a minute or two per waffle. Worth it if you have Mickey fans in your house!" –CM

Get it from Amazon for $21.74.

    11. Dishwasher cleaning tablets you'll pat yourself on the back for buying when you realize just how gross the inside of the gadget that is supposed to CLEAN the plates you eat off of was before trying this product.

    amazon.com

Promising review: "Worked very well! We’ve lived in our home a while, and small remedies haven’t done much to help clean the dishwasher. I finally decided to give a cleaner a try, and this one worked exceptionally well. The pics (seen above) are after one use of two packs (as per instructions for a particularly dirty washer). I definitely will be getting more when I run out to help maintain a cleaner dishwasher!" —chocobeanie

Get it from Amazon for $5.99.

    12. A set of produce-saving containers that'll prevent your fruits 'n' veggies from spoiling quickly and *therefore* prevent *you* from wasting produce! Win-win.

    Natalie Brown / BuzzFeed

BuzzFeed Writer Natalie Brown swears by these containers:

"On March 5, I put half of my fresh strawberries in the medium-sized container and left the other half in the clamshell container they came in from the store. And here they are 10 days later, on March 15 (see above images)!!! The berry I left in the original container's dehydrated and blemished, with wrinkled, crunchy leaves. (I'm not eating the leaves, but still.) But the produce-saver strawb's as fresh as it was on day one! Not that I wouldn't eat the dehydrated one, if that was my only option, but given the choice? I'll take a fresh strawberry every day!"

Get it from Amazon for $12.53+ (available in five sizes and in sets of two, three, and four).

    13. An ironic garlic chopper inspired by Dracula to make you smile and prevent your fingers from smelling like pungent garlic all day.

    Amazon, amazon.com

You can also use it to chop nuts, fruits, and veggies!

Promising review: "I purchased this as a gift for my friend who is a fantastic cook — she uses fresh ingredients almost exclusively — but pressing fresh garlic is a task usually delegated. No longer — Gracula is there for her. She uses him nearly every time she needs garlic (which is basically daily) and months later still makes a point of saying how much she enjoys the gift. I'm pretty sure she likes it better than other gifts I've gotten her which were more expensive/thought out, and I'm fairly certain it's what took me from 'good friend' to 'best friend,' but it be that way sometimes. Anyway, definitely recommended for people who cook with garlic and have a sense of humor." —L

Get it from Amazon for $17.20.

    14. A stainless-steel cleaner that'll make your appliances so shiny you won't be able to stop staring at your own reflection in them (spoiler: you look GOOD!).

    Amazon, amazon.com

This plant-based cleaner will remove streaks, smudges, and fingerprints from all stainless steel surfaces — sounds very therapeutic to me!

Promising review: "THIS Therapy Premium Stainless Steel Cleaner is AMAZING. New dishwasher and and a hungry dog are NOT compatible! Our small dog, 12 pounds, had a habit of stretching up her front paws and scratching her nails on the dishwasher while her food was prepared. Not even days had gone by and the new dishwasher had little thin claw scratches all down the front. I had stopped her by placing a footstool to block her, but other family members had not, despite my instructions. I tried several cleaners and had resigned to having a scratched appliance. But ONE try with the Therapy cleaner — yes, a *miracle*. The scratches cannot be seen at all — polished right out of sight. The dishwasher looks even better than when fresh out of the box — it is gleaming. I eagerly shared the success with my kitchen remodeler, who installs many appliances, and I hope others can restore their stainless products. Try it!" —L. Peterson

Get it from Amazon for $16.97.

    15. A cutting board and strainer combo, because who wouldn't appreciate a two-in-one item that'll save 'em room in their kitchen?

    Amazon, amazon.com

Promising review: "This is one of my favorite things I have purchased for our tiny apartment! It's a pretty good size cutting board and I can see it fitting over most sinks. I LOVE the bowl inside that can let wet ingredients drain liquid directly into the sink. It's seriously SO nice to have this when you're limited on counter space!" —Atara

Get it from Amazon for $19.99 (available in two colors).

    16. A pack of super-strong magnets you can attach to the top of your fridge to ensure your drink of choice is *always* refreshingly cold without taking up space for leftovers.

    kickstarter.com, amazon.com

Promising review: "Of all the things I have bought that I didn't need, this is one of my favorites. Beer is hard to get out of the cardboard carrier in the top of my fridge. While just taking them out and sitting them on the shelf would have solved this problem as well. This solution is more fun. They float and technically it does make a tiny bit of extra space under the beer for small things like cheese or something." —AbbyValentine

Get a set of two strips (six magnets) from Amazon for $29.99.

    17. A Cuisinart Griddler, so you can make mouthwatering burgers all year long whether it's 20 or 90 degrees outside.

    amazon.com, amazon.com

Using this lil' grill is so simple! Throw your meat on, close the top, and BOOM — dinner is served. I've been using one for years and it's wonderful for making grilled chicken, burgers, grilled veggies, and paninis.

Promising review: "Excellent addition to our kitchen. Good build quality, You can use this for a lot of different food but it is great for grilled cheese sandwiches. The griddle works well on pancakes and has plenty of heat to do the job. Easy and quick to clean." —Jazzperk

Get it from Amazon for $79.95.

    18. A Mr. Coffee drip coffee machine that'll ensure a classic, delicious cup o' joe will always be within arm's reach.

a buzzfeed editor standing next to their mr. coffee machine
    Rachel Dunkel / BuzzFeed

BuzzFeed writer Rachel Dunkel has been *raving* about this coffee machine:

"I'll admit, I can be prone to coffee snobbery now and again. I have just about every appliance, tool, and gadget to make coffee this way and that, but there's one I always come back to — the Mr. Coffee. My dad has used a Mr. Coffee basically every morning since the beginning of time, so when I got my first apartment — finally free of the "no cooking appliances" rule ubiquitous to college dorm life — of COURSE I bought the cheapest 12-Cup Mr. Coffee drip pot I could find. That same pot has been with me ever since (for over six years!), quickly brewing up cup after steaming cup of coffee for my roommates, friends, and me, never failing to make my morning and little better. It has also survived many, many moves while packed in pretty precarious boxes. TL;DR: it's also durable."

Get it from Amazon for $24.99 (only available in white).

    19. A handheld soap dispensing brush that might just make you want to clean your dishes — it looks kinda fun, doesn't it?

    oxo / Via instagram.com, amazon.com

Promising review: "I'm loving this little brush. I had purchased another dish brush a while back from the grocery store and the bristles were so stiff that it often splattered soap everywhere. This one isn't like that. The bristles are stiff, but soft enough that they tend to cling to what you're brushing, so they don't cause that splatter effect. I also like that you can open the whole thing up by taking its top off to refill it, giving you plenty of room to pour in the dish soap. The ability to easily remove and replace the brush is another very handy feature. Both are easy to do and it's well made, so they're not likely to come open or undone unexpectedly." —Elliria

Get it from Amazon for $6.99.

    20. Breville the Barista Express Espresso Machine, because why venture out for an overpriced beverage when you can whip one up at home at any time???

    Yi Yang / BuzzFeed

BuzzFeed Writer Yi Yang is passionate about her espresso machine. Here's what she had to say:

"This stainless-steel beaut is the single most expensive appliance in my entire home and lemme tell ya — it's worth every penny! I had it on my wish list for *many* years before finally investing in one and I've used it literally every day for three years. It's still running like new and consistently makes cafe-quality drinks. I used to buy a latte outside every other day (which in NYC, costs around $5 a cup — big yikes) but I've cut that down to maybe once a week (at most) since getting this machine! I think with the money I've saved on lattes, this machine has already paid for itself.

Before this, I tried pretty much every kind of coffee gadget to try to recreate the same taste as my local cafe but just couldn't get it 100% right (including the Nespresso machine, which comes pretty close). What I love most is I can grind the beans, extract the espresso, and froth the milk all in one place — you really don't need to purchase any other accessories to go with it (other than water filters and cleaning tablets). And all three of these components work really well, almost at the level of a professional machine, especially the milk frother which produces super fine bubbles that make latte art possible.

It's also great to be able to choose the beans I want — so I can still support local coffee roasters — instead of having to purchase capsules. Bottom line — the coffee is darn good. If you mostly drink cold brew, pour-overs, or drip coffee, then this machine is probably unnecessary. If you love espresso-based drinks and are somewhat of a coffee perfectionist, I'd highly recommend the Breville Barista Express. It's a splurge but will likely last you for many years to come."

Get it from Amazon for $694.99.

    21. A tortilla press that'll help you take your Taco Tuesdays to the next level without going above and beyond your minimal cooking skill level.

    Heather Braga / BuzzFeed

Like many of you, I've been trying all kinds of new things while spending time social distancing over the last few weeks. My latest challenge? Making my own corn tortillas. Except, thanks to a handy lil' tortilla press from Verve Culture, it wasn't much of a challenge at all. The press is made in Mexico from old Singer sewing machines and other recycled irons! The cast-iron should last you, basically, forever so it's definitely worth your money. I still can't believe how easy they were to make! We used Maseca's corn flour (the bag has instructions on the back how to make the tortillas) and it was so simple. They came out *so* well I was beyond impressed with myself.

Check out my full review of this awesome tortilla press!

Promising review: "Why didn't I have one of these in my kitchen drawer before?! I bought the medium sized scoop originally to make a large batch of cookies for Christmas but today it came handy when I had leftover batter from my banana bread recipe and it made the perfect scoop to fill a regular sized cupcake liner! Now I'm thinking about getting the small size for my mini-cupcakes! Super easy and they came out perfectly uniform and totally beats trying to use a spoon! Handles have a nice silicone grip too and help with hand fatigue. :-)" —Michi K

    amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review: "I’m a barista at Starbucks so obviously I know how I like my coffee. For a while I was using an immersion blender to froth my milk for my morning cup of coffee but it just wasn’t doing what I wanted it to do. I finally bought this frothed and I’m so so happy with it!! It doesn’t need to be plugged in so it takes up way less space. It is a lot quieter than the blender, and I can use any size cup I want because the frother is so small. Not only can I heat up my milk for a hot coffee, but I can also use it just the same with cold milk for my iced coffee!! Highly recommend this product!!" —Heather Michael

Get it from Amazon for $14.95 (available in 17 colors).

It does everything I need it to do including lighting candles that have burned too far down to reach with a match. (although I know that's not its intent at all) Unfortunately it doesn't arrive with butane; but once you fill it, it lasts a pretty long time!" —Vero

a reviewer using the claws to shred chicken
    amazon.com

Promising review: "Works well for shredding larger portions of meat, like pork. Plastic appears to be of higher quality. Sufficient room in the opening for most finger and hand sizes. The pointed tips shouldn't cause injury unless you're careless. I'd highly recommend the use of quality protective gloves; you're not only dealing with the mess of shredding itself but also, most likely, some elevated temperature food." —Legardi11

    amazon.com

And! It's way less wasteful and more environmentally friendly to reuse those colorful cups instead of paper ones!

Promising review: "I have always wanted to buy silicone cups because I love to bake (but hate foil and paper cups), so I'm glad I finally got around to it. These are perfect. They are fun and colorful, and despite feeling thin, they are very durable and hold up to oven temperatures no problem. I didn't have to adjust baking times, or grease the cups. My muffins came out really easily with minimal residue. A little tedious to clean because the crumbs get caught in the grooves, but not a huge deal. I just flipped them inside out, and scrubbed with hot water and soap. I would definitely recommend these for any baker!" —Paula

Promising review: "Finally a kitchen utensil that saves time, mess, and frustration! I ordered this because my 10-year-old daughter loves to make pancakes but she also leaves an incredible mess. She also loves to make cupcakes and that's even a double mess. Upon receiving the batter dispenser, my daughter took it out of the package and started making pancakes right away without my instructions. She loved the ease to make the pancakes in the container and then one click on the pan with no mess." —Jim Hudson
