    1. A rechargeable lighter to light every candle in your house to create the *perfect* ambience without concern you'll run out of lighter fluid.

    Heather Braga / BuzzFeed, Amazon

I'm obsessed with candles, so it was a no-brainer for my husband to gift me this surprisingly super fun gadget for Christmas. It's really simple to use and charge, and it really works! I'll never have to buy another lighter again.

Promising review: "This is seriously the coolest device of my winter holiday. It makes lighting candles a breeze. Yes, there is a weird crackling noise, but that's a super minor annoyance. It's a super intuitive device. Plus the lighter with the USB (included), charge for a bit, then pop it open and light ALL THE THINGS; well, candles. I don't know how well it lights cigarettes or whatever. However, for my personal intended use, it's awesome!" —Jee W

Get it from Amazon for $16.99.

    2. An Amazon Fire TV Stick so you can watch talked-about shows like The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel or sync up your Disney+ account and never leave your couch again.

Promising review: "We have been getting steady increases in our cable TV bill with no increases in services. So we thought we would cut the cord and this device became the focal point for making that transition. We are very pleased with the performance of this device. It is easy to set up with prompts provided as you power it up. We then added our favorite apps, (also very easy), and have never looked back at the cable TV being gone. We now save over $100 a month without those charges for cable TV. If you are thinking of making the leap into cord cutting, this is the way to go." —Stephen H. Jenkins

Get it from Amazon for $39.99.

    3. A heated massager pillow anyone will be happy to have waiting at home for them after a no-good-very-bad day.,

Promising review: "This is a great item and wish I had purchased it sooner. After a week of using it regularly, it worked out a muscle adhesion I had in my neck for years. So much cheaper than going to get a massage and I could not be happier! I use it while reclining back slightly on a lounge chair I have; or I stack up pillows to get the perfect position for it to work effectively without being too painful. Once you find the right position, it is amazing." —Annie

Get it from Amazon for $34.99.

    4. An ever-popular Instant Pot with so many uses you'll need to take a deep breath before deciding what to make with it first., Amazon

The Duo Plus replaces nine common kitchen appliances. It can be used as a pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, yogurt maker, and egg cooker, with the ability to sauté, steam, warm, sterilize... and oh, it makes cakes too. Read all about why the Instant Pot is changing how we cook in our full review of the Instant Pot.

Promising Review: "Perfect addition to the Instant Pot family. This little pot does the same incredible job as its bigger brother and sisters. Great for making the side dishes or smaller main dishes. If you haven't gotten on board the Instant Pot train, do not hesitate! This mini pot even makes yogurt. The benefits to pressure cooking are numerous, using the Instant Pot makes it incredibly easy. Can you tell I'm completely smitten with this little appliance?! It proudly sits on my counter and is used nearly every single day." —Prairie Princess

Get it from Amazon for $59.99+ (available in three sizes).

    5. A Samsung TV that'll disguise itself as an elegant picture frame when it's not in use. A magical marvel in home decor and technology if you ask me.,

This is the number one thing on my wish list right now — it's so cool and I'm constantly staring at it in stores. I love that it has the ability to transform into a piece of art but also act as a room's main source of entertainment.

Promising review: "This TV is badass! It’s more expensive, but that’s because it’s so much different than other TVs. If you hate the way normal TVs look, get one of these. It mounts flat against the wall and will look like a picture frame. The one connect box is great too. Just one cord comes down to a box you can stash somewhere that you connect all your inputs into. Definitely spend the extra money to get one of the other bezel covers. It really will look like a picture on the wall." —Chris Fulmer

Get it from Amazon for $797.99+ (available in four sizes).

    6. A sound machine/night light for anyone who is desperate for some decent sleep sometime this decade.

Promising review: "LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this lamp/white noise machine. I bought a second one, and now everyone in the family wants one (the adults and teen alike!). The options for lamp brightness/dimness, noise volume, and types of white noise are GREAT. We were able to drown out fireworks for my son that were going off RIGHT over our house. The touch option for on/off is great; there is a toddler lock feature we love; you are able to program green-to-rise for kiddos to stay in their rooms until it turns a certain color... love being able to control it from my phone... you can add as many lamps to your app as you want/need. Just LOVE this lamp. The one thing that isn't my favorite is that you have to disconnect/log out of one lamp to connect with another in the app. I wish you could just select each lamp without that extra step, but that's not a huge deal at all. Love it!" —H.P.

Get it from Amazon for $59.99 (also available for purchase with a variety of decorative covers).

    7. A splurge-worthy Dyson vacuum to help you attempt to tackle the never-ending influx of hair, fuzz, and dust that threatens to take over every crevice of your home., Amazon

Honestly, no matter which version of the Dyson stick vacuum you purchase, I can promise you'll be satisfied with the results. I've used a variety of 'em and I can't say enough good things about the product. It doesn't hurt my back to use for an extended period of the time, the battery lasts long enough to clean my entire apartment, and it simply just WORKS. We have ours mounted in a narrow spot alongside our fridge — it's really easy to keep in plain sight without being an eyesore.

Promising review: "I love this vacuum. The V10 doesn't disappoint. While it's weird to get used to holding this tiny piece of machinery, it really does an amazing job. It was incredible how much dog fur it picked up! I was pretty grossed out to be honest, to think I lived in this atmosphere for this long 'thinking' it was clean is nuts! I love all the attachments too, they are all top notch and well made. I feel like I can tackle my entire house with this bad boy. AND it's lightweight! I use it on the lowest setting and it still picks up a ton. I don't think I'll ever need the high or medium setting. But I did try the highest setting for a few seconds and literally felt like the vacuum was ATTACHED to the floor, that's how hard it sucked (in a good way)!" —Matthew Mintun

Get the V10 from Amazon for $349+ (available in three styles).

    8. A sunlight simulation alarm clock that'll gradually increase its brightness from 10% to 100% to gently, but efficiently, wake you up.,

This alarm clock comes with 16 adjustable volume levels so you won't wake up clutching your heart and double checking that you're still breathing after being scared half to death.

Promising review: "I’ve never been a 'morning person' and alarm clocks have historically been loud and obnoxious options to waking up, so I decided to try this. Now it’s not magic, it hasn’t made me all of a sudden cheerful in the morning but it’s a much more calming alternative. Other than the obvious reasons for trying this kind of clock, this particular one has many awesome settings! It has multiple different levels of lights, along with different colors of lights. It has an alarm function and a clock function. It can also double as a sound machine that you can play soothing sounds at night. When using the alarm function the sunrise comes on 10 minutes before the alarm goes off. You can also plug your phone into it for charging. I love the versatility of this alarm clock and the instructions are. Very easy to follow. You should get it." —JRRinBoston

Get it from Amazon for $32.29.

    9. A gaming headset, so you can tune out your loving significant other and focus solely on the task at hand — becoming a Fortnite champion.

In case you were wondering what my living situation is like. Anyway! This headset is lightweight, wireless, padded with memory foam, and will allow the gamer in your home to communicate with their friends easily mid-game. Pretty sweet.

Promising review: "I've had these about six months now, and still love them and comment to myself about them all the time. Biggest reason why is obvious, because they're wireless. As many of us know growing up with wired headphones was always a pain with the cord getting in the way and such but wireless tech has come a long way. Besides just the wireless part, they are SUPER comfortable, sometimes I'll forget they are even on my head, they don't fit super tight which is REALLY nice, but tight enough that if you shake your head slightly they aren't going to fall off obviously. Getting up to do things and just leaving them on is just... nice. Sound quality is great, I had a pair of wired Hyper X headphones before these and i would say these are better. Battery life is also great, I leave the Hyper X Logo light off to have the best battery life possible and can go all day without having to recharge them. I will typically re-charge them every night, I am a videographer so I am on my computer quite a bit and also play a few games so needless to say I am in my headphones almost daily" —Colin McEvoy

Get it from Amazon for $94.17.

    10. A drill-brush power scrubber that might just make you excited to clean your bathroom — or at least help you to stop procrastinating it a bit.

Promising review: "I have NO idea why this product would ever have less than a five-star review. It is a great brush set — I used all three in an effort to get some mildew stains off the grout in my shower. NOTHING worked, but a bit of Soft Scrub (bleach) and these brushes worked like a charm! I then used the larger brush on the floor of the shower, and to remove some soap scum from the glass shower doors. WOW! Where has this been all my life?! Excellent product, works like it should in conjunction with your power drill." —SomeGirl

Get it from Amazon for $14.95 ( available in six styles).

    11. A Citizen wall clock with compatibility to an Echo device that'll let Alexa set timers for you — a must-have for your modern kitchen.

I recently got this clock and love the look of it! My husband is very particular about our clock and he agrees that it looks great up on our wall. I haven't tested out the more advanced functions yet, but can't wait!

Promising review: "There are multiple things I love about this clock. I love the look of it. It's simple and modern-looking, and matches the finishes in our kitchen. It's a great size, easy enough to see, but doesn't take up a ton of wall space. I also love that this clock pairs with our Alexa. This is so cool. You can set multiple timers and the clock lights up and shows you how much time is left on each. You can also receive notifications from Alexa, and the time itself is paired with Alexa so it's always correct. The clock was very simple to set up. It takes four C batteries and you can choose to keep the clock on manual mode or smart mode. If you choose smart mode you simple ask Alexa to 'set up your gadget' and in about five minutes the time is set perfectly and a blue light indicates the clock has successfully paired. Neat clock. Would definitely recommend. Great to own or give as a gift. Fun addition to our smart devices around the house and kitchen and hopefully I will burn less bread or dishes." —Dora Explorer

Get it from Amazon for $63.99.

    12. A fake fireplace to bring the magic of one of those wintry cabins you always see in Hallmark movies into your own home. It even gives off heat!

Promising review: "This is a cute little electric stove. Make sure that you check out the measurements before you order. I bought it for my utility room in the basement, and it gives the room a lovely glow and cozy warmth. I also love the remote control. You can use the 'fire' without the heat if you choose. The knob on the door is super cute, and when you open the glass door, you can see the thermostat and the other digital numbers that tell you the temperature, the time setting (how long do you want it to run), and the flame intensity. I chose this particular stove because of the glass sides. I thought that was prettier to see the flame by three sides." —J.P.

Get it from Amazon for $177.99+ (available in four styles).

    13. A rapid egg cooker that'll make your breakfast faster than you can say, "Which came first, the chicken or the egg?"

Promising review: "I have friends and family who have made fun of me for using the Echo Dot around my home. Well, I gave a few as gifts. 'Why would I ever need something like this' turned into love with it the first hour! The music, the information, and the whole Alexa experience made her a huge believer. The same thing happened with my sister and my niece. They loved it. Now we also 'drop in' to talk to one another. I'd say it was a huge hit and based on my personal experiences plus their enthusiastic acceptance, I have to give Alexa and the Echo Dot five stars." —Greg C.

Get it from Amazon for $49.99 (available in four colors).

    15. An alarm clock with a projection feature so you'll have no excuse but to face the facts that it's time to start your day.

I have a clock like this and I've found it really helpful. I wake up in the middle of the night a lot and it's great to be able to glance at the ceiling and see how much more time I have to sleep rather than shock my eyeballs with the light from my phone.

Promising review: "I love this alarm clock!! The wake-up sound is pleasant and upbeat, the turn-it-off button is on the back (which makes it easier to not ‘inadvertently’ turn it off when I’m hitting snooze). Even the curve of it seems well designed because it fits the curve of the hand when reaching around. The light projection on the ceiling is cool!! And it seems pretty much everything is dimmable and adjustable!! It even remembers the time and alarm settings when you unplug it!! I am absolutely, 100% delighted with this alarm clock!!!"—KatieLady682

The extra suction power for pet hair makes a huge difference. Even on our area rugs, the Roomba does a great job. If you are debating on whether or not to get this device, it makes life a whole lot easier with dusting and sweeping. The battery life is great — we keep ours on the charger while we aren't using it. 17. A Sonos sound bar with Alexa built-in so when you're done cranking up the volume to feel like you're really inside the Millennium Falcon while re-watching Star Wars for the zillionth time you can ask Alexa to play the soundtrack for you.,

Promising review: "This is my second sound bar that I’ve owned and my first Sonos product. I must say I am very impressed. For such a small sound bar this thing outputs great sound. The Beam’s sound when playing movies and music is perfect. I have a mid-size living room area and the Beam fills the space with sound quite handedly The addition of Alexa is arguably this sound bar’s biggest selling point and I’m happy to say it works really well. It works just as well as my Echo and Echo Dot and allows me to control my Smart Home devices. I can ask Alexa to play music on Spotify and then ask it to run my Robovac without having to lift a finger. The first night I had the Furbo I was awoken several times in the middle of the night by high-pitched squealing and giggling of glee from my girlfriend not being able to contain herself. She was so excited to see him, talk to him and give him treats and OH BOY does she like giving him treats!
