A Family Re-Created An Entire Disney Parks Day At Home And It's Just So Magical

Someone sign these parents up to be Disney Imagineers.

Walt Disney World and Disneyland have been temporarily closed in the interest of social distancing as COVID-19 spreads across the US, which sadly has meant families have had to cancel their vacation plans.

The outcome was astounding, to say the least. I'm honestly having a hard time believing Cinderella's fairy godmother didn't swoop in and whip up all this magic herself.

The Gubenkos' trip was booked for March 23 to celebrate Jessica's mom's 65th birthday with her sister and family who live in Illinois. The whole crew was naturally disappointed, so they immediately decided to make some magic for their daughters, Sadie (8) and Summer (4).

"We decided to tell them a bit in advance because they are both really creative and we knew they would want to give some input," Jessica explained to BuzzFeed.

With so many attractions to choose from, they set out to re-create their girls' favorites — and boy, did they nail it.

From breakfast at Chef Mickey's and makeovers at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique to a "ride" on the Slinky Dog coaster and getting soaked on Splash Mountain, this family has managed to make quarantine dreams into a reality. Walt himself would be proud, IMO.

The night ended as any Disney evening should: with Dole Whip and a homemade version of the "Happily Ever After" fireworks show on a projector in their backyard.

I can't imagine a more perfect day — these parents are amazing. Now, you'll have to excuse me while I try to convince my husband to help me turn our apartment into the Haunted Mansion. BRB!
