    2017 MTV Video Music Awards: And the Winners May Be…?

    MTV did more than just announce the nominees for this year’s prestigious Video Music Awards on Tuesday afternoon. The network also announced that it has done away with gender-based categories, as “Best Female Video” and “Best Male Video.” Those have been combined into “Artist of the Year.”

    As for which artist has the most nominations? It's Kendrick Lamar.

    Who is tied for the second most? Katy Perry and The Weeknd.
