On Wednesday, Robert Mugabe — longtime president of Zimbabwe and current chair of the African Union — fell.
This in and of itself is worth a chuckle, especially since the nonagenarian dictator was fine afterward. But Zimbabwean authorities actually tried to say Mugabe didn't actually fall he just tripped and managed to catch himself.
Photographers were reportedly forced to delete the images, but it was too late. The INTERNET had them now and the hashtag #MugabeFalls was quickly populated with fantastic Photoshopped works of art.
This #MugabeFalls craziness is solid gold.
