Meat-Free Burgers 4 Ways

Downright delicious! Plant based meal-inspo sorted, thanks to the Harvest Gourmet™ Incredible Burger.

Classic Harvest Gourmet Burger

Makes 2

Ingredients:

2 Harvest Gourmet™ Incredible Burger Patties

2 bread rolls

1 carrot, grated

1 gem lettuce head, shredded

½ cup spinach, shredded

2 slices vegan cheese

2 tbsp onion jam

2 tbsp vegan mayonnaise

1 sprig parsley

Method:

STEP 1: Pan-fry Harvest Gourmet™ Incredible Burger Patties over medium heat for 10-12 minutes, or until browned on each side.

STEP 2: Slice a bread roll in half and toast in the oven at 180C for 5 minutes.

STEP 3: To create herbed vegan mayonnaise, chop parsley finely then mix in a small bowl with vegan mayonnaise.

STEP 4: To the base of a bread roll, add the herbed vegan mayonnaise, lettuce, spinach, carrot, Harvest Gourmet™ Incredible Burger patty, vegan cheese and 1 tbsp of onion jam, then complete with the top of the bread roll.

STEP 5: Enjoy!

Harvest Gourmet Mushroom Burger

Makes 2

Ingredients:

2 Harvest Gourmet™ Incredible Burger Patties

2 flat mushrooms

2 iceberg lettuce sheets

1 tomato, sliced

¼ red onion, sliced

1 cup roquette

2 tbsp vegan mayonnaise

Salt, to taste

Pepper, to taste

Method:

STEP 1: Pan-fry Harvest Gourmet™ Incredible Burger Patties over medium heat for 10-12 minutes, or until browned on each side.

STEP 2: Add flat mushrooms to a lined baking tray and drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper, then bake in the oven at 180C for 15 mins.

STEP 3: For the shell of the burger, lay an iceberg lettuce sheet on a flat surface like a cup. Building upwards, add a flat mushroom to the base, ½ cup roquette, 2 tomato slices, 1 tbsp of vegan mayonnaise, some red onion slices, then top with a Harvest Gourmet™ Incredible Burger Patty.

STEP 4: Enjoy!

Harvest Gourmet Mexican Burrito

Makes 2

Ingredients:

2 Harvest Gourmet™ Incredible Burger Patties

1 baby gem lettuce head, shredded

1 tomato, sliced

¼ red onion

1 cup brown quinoa and rice

1 cup black beans

½ cup spicy salsa

100g potato fries

Vegan Queso:

1 cup soaked cashews

3 tbsp taco seasoning

3 tbsp almond milk

3 slices jalapeno

Method:

STEP 1: Pan-fry Harvest Gourmet™ Incredible Burger Patties over medium heat for 10-12 minutes, or until browned on each side.

STEP 2: To make the vegan queso, add all ingredients to a blender then pulse until smooth.

STEP 3: Lay potato fries on a lined baking tray, then bake in the oven at 180C for 25 minutes.

STEP 4: Lay a large tortilla on a flat surface then build with ½ cup of brown quinoa and rice, ½ cup of black beans, ¼ cup of spicy salsa, a handful of lettuce, 2 slices of tomato and some red onion. Halve the Harvest Gourmet™ Incredible Burger Patty and add to the burrito. Top with potato fries and cover generously with vegan queso, then roll tightly so the burrito holds together.

STEP 5: Slice in half then enjoy!

Burger Bowl

Makes 1

Ingredients:

1 x Harvest Gourmet™ Incredible Burger Patty

1 x avocado

8 x cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup spinach

1 baby gem lettuce, separated

1 cups quinoa and brown rice, cooked

100g sweet potato fries

Method:

STEP 1: Pan-fry Harvest Gourmet™ Incredible Burger Patties over medium heat for 10-12 minutes, or until browned on each side.

STEP 2: On a lined baking tray, evenly spread sweet potato fries and halved cherry tomatoes, then bake for 20 minutes at 180C.

STEP 3: Heat quinoa and brown rice then add to a large serving bowl.

STEP 4: On top of the quinoa and brown rice start by building even layers using spinach, baby gem lettuce, and avocado, then add the Harvest Gourmet™ Incredible Burger Patty. Add sweet potato fries to one side, then add cherry tomatoes to the other.
