It's Time To Decide, Once And For All, Which High School English Books Were *Actually* Worth Reading

Hamlet was good. The Catcher in the Rye? Not so much.

Let's face it: Not every book we read in high school was good.

Nickelodeon

And I love to read!!! I'm going to get hate for this but...The Alchemist was the worst.

But every once in a while there was a book that actually seemed to live up to the hype.

Nickelodeon

Honestly? Most of them were plays. (I'm including plays because this is my quiz and I make the rules.)

It is time to decide, once and for all, which high school literature books were ACTUALLY good and still hold up today.

NBC

Don't lie. Did you actually like these books or did you just think they were "historically and culturally significant"?
