What Should Tourists Know Before Visiting Your City?

The locals know best.

There's no better way to travel like a local than to take advice from, well... locals.

So we want to know, what are the best tips you'd give to travelers who are visiting your home city?

Maybe as a native New Yorker, you'd tell travelers that for the best Chinese food in the city, skip Manhattan's Chinatown and head straight to Flushing, Queens.

Or perhaps you're a Parisian who would recommend visiting a smaller, more manageable museum like the Palais de Tokyo or Fondation Louis Vuitton in place of the giant Louvre.

Maybe you hail from Iceland and you'd suggest skipping Gullfoss waterfall in favor of Hraunfossar, a beautiful series of dramatic falls most travelers don't know about.

Or you're from Tokyo, and you would suggest saving your blow-out sushi meal for lunchtime, when prices are far cheaper than at dinner.

Don't keep these secrets to yourself! We want to hear your best travel tips for anyone visiting your home city. Leave your best travel advice in the comments below, and make sure to tell us what city you're from. If you have photos, upload them to the Dropbox below. You might be featured in a future BuzzFeed Community post or video.
