    WJ via Amazon / Via amazon.com, amazon.com

Even we we aren't flying, Hudson loves traveling in his carrier. Even if it's just for a car ride, he feels comfortable and safe inside of it and nuzzles right in.

Promising review: "Don't hesitate to buy this carrier. It's great quality, provides lots of ventilation for the dog, and it offers two convenient openings on the top and side. I got the size large for my 22-pound dog and it's perfect. It's big enough for him to sit comfortable but small enough to fit under a plane seat. It's sturdy enough to carry him with ease. I've used this carrier for multiple trips between Europe and the US and it still looks like new." —KG5

Get it from Amazon for $18.09+ (available in sizes S,M, and L in five colors).

    3. A soft, adjustable, and comfortable Puppia harness that will keep your pet from pulling while walking.

Ang via Amazon / Via amazon.com, Hannah Loewentheil/BuzzFeed

Promising review: "My dog is very active and can be difficult to walk on a leash. She's only 25 pounds but she's very strong and she pulls the leash like crazy. I tried other harnesses in the past, but they chafed her underarms and didn't help much with the pulling. I got this harness because it's really cute and I've seen it on lots of other dogs. It has done wonders. My dog is so much better at walking with this harness, and I can control her much more easily. Plus she looks adorable." Bethany

Get it from Amazon for $16.67+ (available in 14 colors and six sizes).

    4. A medicated, odorless Seresto collar to ward off ticks and fleas, keeping your pet healthy and happy.

I hear horrible stories about so many dogs getting Lyme disease, so In addition to giving Hudson NexGard chewables for ticks and fleas, I have him wear this Seresto tick collar every summer as a second line of defense. He wears it in addition to his regular collar and it doesn't bother him one bit. The Seresto collar seems pricy, but it works for eight months so I feel that I get my money's worth.

Get it from Petco for $57.98.

I've tried about five other kinds of dental treats for Hudson, but these toothbrush-shaped Greenies are the only ones he'll actually chew and enjoy.

Promising review: "We rescued a dog and love everything about her...except her breath. We did not want to discourage her from giving us kisses, but her breath was disgusting. Thankfully, she loved the first Greenie dental treat we gave her, and we noticed an improvement in her breath after just a few days. Now we give her one treat every day at lunchtime and singed up for a subscription." —Duck363

I can honestly say that the this product has been a total game-changer when it comes to bath time and grooming. It’s amazing how I can spread a tablespoon of peanut butter into this gadget and my pup will stay so distracted that I’m able to fully wash, dry, brush, and clip her nails without her even noticing!" —Brittany

    7. A Best Friends By Sheri dog bed that basically molds to your pup and keeps him happily off your furniture.

Becky via Amazon / Via amazon.com, purple panda via Amazon / Via amazon.com

When we first got Hudson I spoiled him with a fancy Casper dog bed...which he refused to sit on. Fast-forward to bringing home this Best Friends by Sheri shag bed and he absolutely adored it. He would melt right into it and not want to move.

Promising review: "I adopted a 30 pound pit-mix about a month ago — I love her dearly, but she insisted upon sleeping in the middle of my bed. I woke up exhausted every morning. I tried kicking her out, but she'd just pace around the room all night long, getting no sleep whatsoever. After seeing her snuggled up in a comforter on the floor I realized that she just wanted to be snuggled while she slept. Last night, for the first time ever, Molly slept soundly all night long all because of this bed. She treats it like a nest. She buries her chew toys in the sides and sleeps in the middle. My only complaint is that a little bit of the 'fuzz' falls off and sticks to her face." —iLeela Biswas

Hudson doesn't shed, but his coat gets easily matted, especially in the summer months when he's swimming and constantly playing outside. I use this de-matting brush to keep his coat nice and smooth so that he doesn't have to get shaved every time I bring him to the groomer!

Promising review: "I would give this product 10 stars if it were an option. I have a Newfoundland with massive amounts of hair that require frequent grooming.
