Even great TV shows can have garbage characters. It's just a disappointing and inevitable fact of life.
Sometimes, characters are so god-awful and pointless that all you can do is hope and pray they will get written off the show eventually.
Maybe you've always been a big fan of Friends, but you used to secretly hope that Ross would get some prestigious job halfway across the world, and be phased out of the show forever. You decided that Joey and Rachel were a better couple, and Ross's annoying tendencies weren't a real asset to the show anyway.
Perhaps you're a shameless fan of the original Gossip Girl, but you hated Vanessa Abrams with all your heart. You thought she was rude, boring, and nothing but an annoying complication thrown into the mix. You wanted her GONE.
Or maybe you're a firm believer that Mr. Schue from Glee deserved to be written off for his terrible behavior. From his raging ego to the creepy way he treated high school students, that school never would've tolerated him. You think he should've been fired and replaced ASAP.
