Spam is a canned pork that was made popular during World War II, and personally, I'm pretty glad it's not a staple food today.

These French puff-pastry bites were so delicious that they made their way across the Channel and into the mouths of almost everyone that was about during the '80s.

Crêpes Suzette are unlike your regular, run-of-the-mill crêpes. They're topped with caramelised sugar, tangerine zest, and orange liqueur. And sometimes they're even served _en flambé._

Way back before Jamie Oliver came and changed mealtimes forever, ambrosia "salad" was eaten by the masses. It's basically a fruit salad, but marshmallows and coconut are also involved. Yum.

If you're of a certain age, you're sure to remember this tasty treat. This moussey dessert was invented back in 1967, but millennials will remember it from its 1999 revival.

If you're thinking that this looks a lot like jelly, it's because it is. Aspic is basically gelatine mixed with meat stock, and it was a huge deal back in the day. Delicious.

Gelatine was clearly a go-to for boomers. This dessert is made from milk, cream, and of course the star of the show — gelatine.

And finally, _what_ is this?

Judging by your result, I’m certain you weren’t born a day before 1985. You’re probably a millennial, maybe even Gen Z, but there’s no chance you were about in the ’60s or ’70s. The thought of eating a Spam sandwich probably makes you shudder, and I bet you’ve never had the privilege of eating meat and veg cased in jello.

Not bad! You know a thing or two about foods from yesteryear, even if you weren’t about to eat them firsthand. You know that some meals from back in the day were absolute classics, but there’s no chance you’d trade your modern-day food for a plate of ham in aspic. That being said, you’d never turn your nose up at a good prawn cocktail or vol-au-vent.

You’re definitely a baby boomer! Either that, or you’re just a total connoisseur of throwback foods. You’ve lived through just about every food craze, and you know that avocado toast has absolutely nothing on a good bowl of ambrosia salad — washed down with some SodaStream, of course. You’d take a Spam sandwich over plain old ham every time, and you probably daydream about the good ole days when gelatine was a key ingredient.
