We had a Catholic wedding, but I said no to ushers. Too stuffy and formal. It’s not that hard to just find a place to sit, we didn’t want people to sit on a “ bride” or “groom” side. My mom had a fit! Which made it all the more fun to break that “rule.”

Shooting Star cookies. They are nice size star shaped shortbread cookies drizzled with chocolate and have Pop Rocks sprinkles so they “pop” when you eat them. They actually taste really good and my too little boys love the popping action. Truly a unique sweet treat.

On the Night You Were Born. Nancy Tillman books are known for amazing whimsical artwork and celebrating the uniqueness of each child. This is by far my favorite, it reminds you every baby truly is a miracle to be cherished. Best book to give new or expecting parents.

When you take your kiddos anywhere like a zoo, museum, etc. pack your lunch. Nothing fancy just a water, sandwich, piece of fruit, and something crunchy for everyone. You save so much by not eating at those expensive places and can eat a lot healthier too.
