This week, my boyfriend and I wanted to find a good burger here in Charlotte for our date night, but we also didn't want to spend a lot of money on an overpriced burger. We looked up some reviews and found a little joint in South End called Zack's Hamburgers. They have everything from a juicy burger, to a cold milkshake. The joint is set up like the 60's and when you step into the restaurant you feel like you're going back in time. You can enjoy your meal outside at the sitting area, or get comfy in one of their booths. Zack's cheeseburgers are definitely some of the best I've ever had. It's a cheap date night idea if you're looking for good food and you're a little low on cash. The Zack's Special is the way to go! You get a burger with everything on in, including the special sauce, fries and a drink for $7! I also enjoyed their homemade onion rings, which were voted some of the best in Charlotte. The Demopoulos family founded this joint back in 1975 and it is still family owned. Three generations have kept this popular burger joint up and running! This family cares about their community and they make sure they make the environment as friendly as possible. The staff is very friendly and will help you with whatever you need! The burger joint is always busy, but the food is always great! I know I will definitely be heading back very soon, and you should too!
