    When you think of British cuisine, you're probably imagining fish and chips and cups of tea. Well, I'm here to tell you that the desserts deserve just as much hype.

    Without further ado, here are just 11 treats that I think Americans need to learn about ASAP:

    1. Victoria sponge cake

    Introduction: This sweet and creamy dessert has jam, cream, and berries inside. It's very popular around the world. It's named after Queen Victoria because she enjoyed having this cake with her afternoon tea.

    Why it's so good: The sweet jam and cream really make this cake unique.

    7. Digestives
