In the five years it took to fill this journal, I changed jobs four times, had four different addresses, and went from being very single to very not single.
In the five years it took to fill this journal, I changed jobs four times, moved three times, and met my boyfriend — the same one I'd totally 100% save from a fire.
I started my second journal (above on the right) at the start of this year.
I make an effort to never miss a day when journaling, and when I do, I'll always fill in any gaps at a later date. That means that every day I can look back at what I was doing the year before, and eventually, four years before. When I finished my first journal, it felt like I had five years of my life documented and bound; a pretty blue time capsule.
(And FYI the above is not my photo but it sure gets 10/10 for cuteness.)
There are also different versions of the journal that are just as cute and useful. The Mom's One Line a Day is especially sweet, as a simpler substitute for a baby book that also suits parents with more than one child. The Living Well One Line a Day journal is another option, which is designed for anyone with health and wellness goals they'd like to keep long-term.
