Which Unconventional Destination Should You Visit For Spring Break?

You’re someone who enjoys trying new beers, craft beers, microbrews, etc. Along with that you enjoy brewery tours and rich traditions of beer companies (Miller). You can also appreciate some great food places that are new, but also very cultured (Irish, German, Hispanic, Asian).

You’re someone who is a huge rock n' roll fan and really into the traditions behind the genre. You might also be a pretty big sports fan!

Woah. You must really love trees. In all seriousness, you’re in touch with nature, have an adventurous side, and would rather spend your break away from typical parties on the beach. Offering trails that run along the California coast, you can find solace in the sea, knowing that you aren’t partying at South Padre Island.

Killington is a New England town through and through, it is very small, about 3 hours outside of Boston. If you want to take it easy and enjoy a laid back mountain atmosphere where everyone skis in the day and enjoy some of the best beer Vermont has to offer Apres Ski. A farm to table movement has also been on the rise in Vermont leading to an increase in “foodie” tourists.

You enjoy visiting new places that are enriched with great locations to site see, hike, and go camping. You’re someone that appreciates nature just in general. This national park encompasses everything including grasslands, wetlands, forests, lakes, tundras, and of course massive dunes.

A hidden gem of the south, Savannah is a small city that still enjoys all of its original architecture. Fittingly, there is also a large concentration of haunted house tours. A huge perk of Savannah is their surprisingly liberal open container policy, which allows bars and restaurants to serve their patrons to-go cups of booze. Additionally Savannah has multiple beaches with similar open container policies (hard to find in domestic spring break destinations).

You’re a huge sports fan, escaping the cold to visit warm Arizona is the perfect move for you. Catch your favorite MLB team play their spring training games for cheap, enjoy the weather, have a blast and admire the natural beauty of the Arizona landscape.

Jackson Hole is for those people who just want want to get out into nature and away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Nestled in the Teton mountain range and only 5 miles from Grand Teton National Park, Jackson Hole is an outdoorsman's dream.

You enjoy your time to yourself and you deserve a nice relaxing break. Don’t break the bank, just watch your favorite movie, get into your most comfortable sweats, and enjoy your time off, you deserve it.
