Teriyaki Kabocha Squash
This is a vegetarian version of teriyaki chicken. It's made with only five ingredients.
1. Kabocha Squash: about 520g 2. Soy Sauce: 2 tablespoons 3. Mirin: 1 tablespoon
4. Sugar: 1 tablespoon 5. Butter: 10g
How to cook it:
Quarter the squash and steam it until it's cooked (13-15 minutes). Cut it into bite-sized pieces. Add the butter into the skillet and wait until it's melted. Add the squash and wait until one side turns golden brown. When it's golden brown, flip so that the cooked side is on the top. Mix all other ingredients to make a teriyaki sauce. Add the sauce and mix them all together. Top with white sesame seeds.
