Noblett Lake in Douglas County, Missouri is so clear that you can see the bottom from the air! In the photo the patches of dark to yellow green is the vegetation at the bottom of the lake.

This Lake looks like you're gliding over glass it's so clear! When you look through the water you can see all of the underwater plant life that looks like it's within an arms reach, but don't reach too far or you'll fall out of the boat- kinda creepy, but cool!

A Little Treasure Hidden Away...

Noblett Lake has history behind it, it was a largely popular area and had a "beach" for swimming and boating way back in the 60's and it's still a nice hideaway in the Ozarks if you don't want a crowd. The forestry service keeps the area nice for families and there are still locals who come to enjoy a nice quiet time with family to fish and enjoy the Missouri Ozarks scenery. It's a little treasure in the Ozarks that you have just GOT to go see!

By the looks of things you would think that Noblett Lake is a LOT deeper than it actually is, but at it's deepest point the Lake is only about 5 foot deep!
