Positive vibes only! Don't let anyone ruin your new year. It's very hard to be shoved into a locker if you aren't within arms reach.

Keep your friends close, and your enemies far, far away

Don't be petty. Everyone has a lot on their mind and they definitely didn't mean to snub your new look!

Forgive the people who don't notice your new haircut

And then leave it crumpled up in your backpack for the rest of the school year. It's a metaphor for how easy it is to lose sight of things! Also, clean your backpack more often.

Write a letter to yourself outlining your hopes and dreams

I'm not saying you have to share it. But it never hurts to have the option. Also, hey, can I have a piece of gum?

Be the person with gum you wish to see in the world

But maybe your teacher won't roll their eyes while saying that if you stop opening your mouth to ask such dumb questions all the time. Think before you speak!
