Walk the Brooklyn Bridge

Head downtown and catch a ferry to Liberty Island! If you're able to book far enough in advance, you might even get the chance to climb all the way up to the Statue's crown!

Only 15 minutes away from campus by the Subway, the iconic Times Square is known as the "Crossroads of the World" and is right in the heart of the Theatre District. You can also get discounts on Broadway shows through Columbia's Ticket and Information Center.

With Columbia's Passport to Museums, all Columbia students have free unlimited access to over 25 museums located all across the city. This includes places like the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art (pictured below), the Museum of the City of New York, the Intrepid Sea, Air, & Space Museum, and the Brooklyn Transit Museum, among others!
