14 Reasons To Vote For Chris Weeks

1. He shakes it like a salt shaker

Anyone who attended Dance Production had the pleasure of watching Chris show off his phenomenal dance moves during the intermission video. If you missed it, keep an eye out for him at concerts and formals. He has the kind of moves we want representing the student body.

2. He's pushing for sustainablity

Chris worked with the senate to make sure to only fund compostable or recyclable utensils, cups, and napkins for events. He has plans to make the campus more sustainable overall, and to help keep students aware that Los Angeles does not have an abundance of water, so we must use what we have sparingly.

3. His style is on point

He's specifically killing the pants game, but the rest of his fashion items are sharp as well.

4. He wants to make getting funding for clubs easier

Pretty much everyone is in a club on campus, so this will positively impact almost all of us. He specifically wants to recognize the hard work the cultural clubs and organizations are doing and match their efforts with proper funding.

5. He has a firm handshake

As President, this is a must.

6. He was an adorable child

7. He was prom king?!

Dreams do come true.

8. He wants to have enjoyable social events on campus

As winner of Prom King, he clearly knows how to have a good time. At Oxy, as a member of the ASOC senate this year, Chris supported alternative social events, due to the moratorium on dances. He wants to continue this by working with KOXY, Raw Record, other organizations, or the ASOC themselves to put on concerts and social events.

We don't want a president who's going to ignore the hard hitting issues; as Oxy students, we want someone who will stand up for what's right and never let anyone walk all over us.
