17 Weird Things You Did On The Internet In 2007 That You Forgot All About

2007 was 10 years ago? What a difference 10 years makes online. And what a difference 15 minutes makes, since that's all it takes to potentially save 15% with GEICO. They've been saving people money for over 75 years!

1. For some reason, the best picture you could upload onto the internet was a dirty mirror selfie with extra flash.

2. People actually had conversations back and forth on each other's FB walls. And they were really hard to follow because the messages did not thread.

3. Or there were these type of messages...

4. You were really concerned about your "top 8" friends.

5. You uploaded dozens of photos at once into an album instead of individually sharing one picture at a time.

6. You updated your statuses in the third person.

7. You learned HTML just so you could *~personalize~* your Myspace.

8. It was funny to say you were married to your BFF in your relationship status.

9. Filling out 100 survey questions for fun was a normal and totally cool thing to share with your friends.

10. You were a part of so many "Lost my phone, need your numbers!" FB groups or events.

11. Or just random groups that had no point at all.

12. It wasn't out of the question to hear an "AIM message" sound in the background of a song you downloaded.

13. The iPhone had just come out…and it cost $499.

14. So that meant you didn't DARE go on the internet on your phone because that would have cost an arm and a leg...

15. ...unless you had a Sidekick or BlackBerry and all your friends were super jelly.

16. Searching for maps on your desktop and then printing your route was the easiest way to get directions.

17. And the most popular GIFs around were super blinged out.

It's probably a great idea to forget all about those days. Another great idea: switching to GEICO and potentially saving a bunch of money.
