An extraordinary interior detail of a crab captured via mammogram.
The mammogram also reveals tiny air bubbles and yolk sacs within a hen's eggs.
And the interior structures of preserved terrapin specimens.
But probably most spectacular is Brendan's X-rays photos revealing the complex mechanical and electrical components hidden in children's toys.
In hoping to capture the internal beauty of nature, Brendan turned his attention to one of art history's favorite subjects - the flower.
