A massive tornado hit the town of Dolo — to the west of Venice in Italy — Wednesday night, killing one person and injuring 30, according to Corriere de Veneto.
Residents of the town, which located between Venice and another ancient city, Padua, posted photographs and videos of the storm on social media as it wreaked havoc on everything in its path.
The tornado also uprooted trees and caused widespread damage to buildings.
Authorities said at least 50 buildings had their rooftops torn off, Corriere reported.
