Idiots Ride Their Horses Into Store

Sunday night a group of three people tried to ride a horse into a downtown bar in Steamboat Springs called Old Town Pub after already riding through a local grocery store.

  Sunday night a group of three people tried to ride a horse into a downtown bar in Steamboat Springs called Old Town Pub after already riding through a local grocery store.  One of the people on the horse was a man, Steamboat Springs resident Michael Joseph Miller, 44. He became confrontational when the bar staff asked the group to leave. The bar staff called police
  when the man got into a physical fight with a bar staff member.  The group left the bar but because the man was local he was id'd by the people in the bar. When the police found the man he was riding the horse on the Yampa River Core Trail, a bike path that runs through Steamboat. He became confrontational with officers and tried to get the horse to run faster. He refused to dismount when officers told him he was under arrest.  He then became combative with officers so they tased him in order to get him off the horse. He was arrested for charges of harassment, disorderly conduct, obstructing a police officer and resisting arrest.
