4 Suggestions On What The New Royal Baby Should Be Named

Because the world is getting tired of regular names.

Posted on

On September 8th this year, the British royal family once again attempted to make Twitter explode by announcing that Prince William and Duchess Kate are expecting their second child. Although it's a bit too early to speculate on a gender or name I figured I'd help the royals out and suggest some names that they might want to consider.

Princess Consuela Bananahammock

This is a nod to all the 90's kids who grew up watching "Friends".

This one is simple, just "Prince".

It will work well as long as Baby Prince doesn't take to the throne. King Prince just doesn't have the same sort of ring to it.

"Anything" Saxe-Coburg

Its a little advertised fact that the British royal family aren't truly British. They are actually of German decent.

Going back only as recently to George V, the grandfather of the now Queen of England, they were members of the German ducal House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. Due to anti-German feelings during the First World War, King George decided to adopt the more English sounding suffix of "Windsor" over the more Germanic "Saxe-Coburg" in 1917.

Considering international relations are now on the mend it would be a good sign of solidarity to go back to the original birth name of the royal family.
