2. Comparisons with John Wick were bound to happen. It's from the same tree that bore the fruit of John Wick but a different branch. And it tastes different. Maybe sweeter.

4. LGBTQ or straight, we all were excited to see this relation play out on the big screen. Quite interesting that both have played mothers to kings.

6. What makes Gunpowder Milkshake a delightful watch is also its multi-racial cast, which makes viewers of different communities feel involved.

7. The sheer star power that this movie projects at us is difficult to digest.
#GunpowderMilkshake is out now on Netflix! The film follows a hitwoman (Karen Gillan) as she takes on a ruthless crime syndicate with the help of her distant mother (Lena Headey) and “aunts” (Michelle Yeoh, Angela Bassett and Carla Gugino) in order to save a young girl.
There were few moments in the film where I let out loud exclamations because watching all these thespians together on a single screen is too much talent in a small space.
8. Another bit that our LGBTQ community loved a lot. As I said earlier, this movie appealed to everyone.

9. Hah! A poke at how Netflix came up with this weird name. Well, it's nice that they came up with this weird name, as it was that that caught Karen's attention.

11. The lighting, color scheme, and style made this film a delicacy for the eyes. Slaughtering bad guys is fun to watch if done under neon light.

12. 2021 is half over. Pretty sure this will be one of the best action thrillers of 2021.

I have yet to see Gunpowder Milkshake, but I am am aware that Angela Bassett ostensibly does this at some point during the film- so it's an automatic 10/10 for me. Sorry, that's just the way it is.
20. It seems that the leading ladies didn't have to make much effort to bring humor and chemistry to the film.
